This restaurant offers very good dishes, both seafood and steaks. Generous portions too. The atmosphere is nice. We went during a long weekend and our reservation in another restaurant was cancelled. We were able to find a very good restaurant and had a great time...with friends.More

Caracoles is a high quality restaurant, with unique and well executed dishes, as well as a pleasant atmosphere with quick and very friendly service. The owner is extremely dedicated and passionate, and it shows in this business. Highly recommend this as part of your Culebra...experience! We had the fried whole snapper, the mambosteado and the mofongo - all delicious!More

This is a MUST!!!! We loved it! The mambosteado is delicious! We will definetly come back. It was my favorite restaurant in the island. Gustavo and Jason were super nice, excellent service! So happy to have found this place!

My husband and I had dinner here. It doesn’t look like much from the outside and we were the only diners at the beginning of our meal, but the inside is very nice and there were several other groups that came in a little after...us. Calamari appetizer- very tender, not hard fried or too much breading, which was nice. Came with two great sauces. Paella was tasty and came with lots of seafood. Lobster was fresh and cooked well. If you get to choose a side get the rice/bean mix. I forgot the name but the waiter suggested it. It had chorizo and plantains mixed in and was absolutely delicious! Waiters were very friendly and helpful!More

Delicious food! good local options with a bit of haute cuisine flair. Fish soup, simple mahi-mahi, and shrimp all wonderful. Out of tuna due to holiday tonight, will have to come back once they have it back!

We had reservations for 14 people on a late December night. We are aware of the many people visiting the island. When we arrived they were closed due to technical difficulties related to gas line( that was the report). I understand things happened but they...didnt call us for the cancellation and it was difficult to have dinner afterwards for everyone. I think this was disrespectful for customers. Next time call people. Being there before and is a good restaurant.More

The fried red snapper was reviewed has been exceptional. Unfortunately we told our waiter to please undercooked my red snapper since I hated fry fish and they didn’t believe me. If you like over cooked fish this is your place!

To be honest, this place didn't look like much from the outside, and I was further concerned when we walked in at 8pm on a Friday night and we were the only diners, but don't let those factors deter you from giving this great restaurant...a chance. Once we entered, we found this to be one of the nicest restaurants on Culebra. Our server was very friendly and literally ran out a side door as we were leaving so he could get to the front door and hold it open for us. I got the tuna which was perfect, my vegan friend delighted in the roasted asparagus and potatoes dish and some of the other many veggie sides, and another friend thoroughly enjoyed the whole snapper. Will definitely come back when we get to visit again!More

Great food! My boyfriend and I ended up on a late ferry into Culebra on our first night on the island. We were starving, having missed lunch, and were really worried about finding dinner after 9:00 pm on a tiny island during the slow season....We picked this place mostly because it was open, but we were very pleased with our meals. We both had the tuna, which was cooked perfectly (seared the way that a good piece of tuna should be), and came with a delicious sauce. The waiter did a great job and didn’t make us feel rushed even though they were starting to close up as we were finishing our meal. We were very happy and would come back if we ever visit Culebra again.More

Firstly the service was amazing. The food not worth the amount of money spent. Cost about $90 for 2 who got a soda, soup, appetizer and two entries. The fish soup was like a few pieces of fish in cloudy water. Tasteless. And just blah....They were out of scallops. Had our hearts set on them. But didn’t get to. The paella was pretty decent. Mostly fish. Little amount of lobster and shrimp. Over all it was ok. A lot of money for just average food.More
