Richard invited us to try his BBQ out when we meet him at Villa Flamenco. We visited, had dinner and it was excellent. We came back a few times later in the week. Don't pass this up.

I'm certain this is the best hamburger I've ever eaten..ever!! What's not to love about a hamburger stuffed with cheese, plantain, and crispy bacon? The pinchos (skewered meat) is wonderful and they make delicous sauces, tamarindo, guava, etc. The rice is great too. It appears...they do a fair amount of take-out, but the outdoor restaurant is pleasant. It's on the road between Carlos jeep and the Eco school, next to the ice cream stand.More

BamBu BBQ is an outdoor restaurant with nice outdoor seating. Great selection of local entrees and side dishes. My only complaint is I ate too much. Most of the customers appear to be local people. Definitely not a tourist trap.
