We’ve followed this restaurant each year - from the smallest location on the Main Street, up the hill, they took a year off with the hurricanes, a bigger location on the Main Street to now - a lovely hidden location across from the ferry dock....GO! Tucked behind The Sandbar under Kokomo, their new location offers plenty of room, outside dining and a lovely view! BUT THE FOOD! This year in the 2 months we’ve been here, we’ve had their pork prepared 2 yummy ways, unbelievable lamb shanks, delicious stew...and Fish! Fried whole fish, but the fish tacos are insane (split it cause you get 3 HUGE tacos!)! Shrimp and garlic was good! Fish stew, also delicious! Every meal has been excellent! The local kids working here are great! Service can be a little slow, but it’s island time- grab a beer and look at the water view! So glad to be here again at their bigger and better location! Word to the wise- if it’s a rainy night, they sometimes close.More

We had some great meals here. Best fish tacos ever! So giant & full of Veges & big pieces of fish! We also had the lobster which was flavored so great with cilantro & butter. We love the new waterfront location. Will definitely return.

As I waited for the ferry across this business, I bought a malta from the bar. I plugged in my phone as it was dying and because it was late at night ( 9PM ferry) as a woman this is a safety concern. The owner...of this business, also a woman came and harassed me without knowing that I supported her business. She claimed I purchased nothing and then said that is she was on the main land I couldn’t just come in and use electricity. Meanwhile, there were others who were in the same area doing the same thing and DID NOT support the business. I am also Puerto Rican and I’m sure she noticed from my accent and said that if she was on the main land she wouldn’t be able to do that. All this while blowing cigarette smoke in my face. She’s horrendous. I paid her the two dollars she supposedly charges to charge your phone - which she didn't charge ANYONE ELSE- and I left politely. 1. Support your own people, dont attack them 2. Uphold your rules for all, not for some. This woman used her prejudice against me when I was just sitting quietly in a corner. Put your money in businesses that support the people of Puerto Rico, not the ones who attack them for their money.More

I ate there twice during my week on Culebra. Fish both times, locally caught and very fresh. Service was very friendly and helpful. The drinks menu was limited (no wine available) but that was probably due to the recent management change and it being just...after Christmas/New Year. Attention to those waiting to be seated is slow (you can wait up to 10 minutes for someone to say hello and we'll find you a place to eat) but that seems to be the Puerto Rican very laid back way. But it's worth eating here, the food is top notch.More

We were a table of 10 and were the first in the door at 6 PM. Service - very slow. Once they take your order, they disappeared. The only alcoholic beverages they had to offered was 2 different types of beer - everything else was...not available. Food - quite a few items on the menu were also not available and it was confusing as to what sides came with the meal. Server was not very helpful and made it more confusing. Ordered the Cornish hen with rice and plantains, with a side of Mix Spring Salad. When the order was finally delivered, the only food on my plate was the Cornish Hen and salad without dressing. No rice and no plantains!! When the food was being delivered, some at our table received theirs and others had to wait for more than 45 minutes! Horrible service. Any more than the first order of drinks taken at the table had to be ordered on the bar, as they did not come around to refresh our drinks. Some food portions were good, others were small. Nothing consistent. Took forever to get our bills and they were even disorganized and wrongly priced. When we were leaving we were told that next time “All One Bill”, in a very sarcastic, unfriendly manner. Will not be going back.More

The fish tacos were the best I ever had, with a large piece of fried grouper in each taco. You get 3 for $18 (no sides) and considering the size and the quality, it's quite reasonable. The tacos are much larger than at Zaco's Tacos....Not only were my fish tacos fantastic, but my husband said his fried grouper dinner was the best HE ever had. So it was a win-win. I could only eat 2 of my 3 tacos, but hubby was happy to finish them for me. Loved this place. We'll be back!More

We happened upon this restaurant. The ferry changed its schedule without notice so we had some time to kill. Dinner was great good food friendly service, but the Fish Tacos were hands down best I ever had!

After a great day at the beach, we returned to town where we going to have supper before catching the ferry to return to the mainland. We walked around town and settled on the Krusty Krab. Our phones we dead and our expectations were not...high- thinking it to be a local fast food joint but better than the alternatives in the area. The restaurant was filled with what appeared to be locals so we thought it would have good food- nevertheless we were very surprised when we were served our food- my son & I had the fried grouper filet- which turned out to be a very large serving fried to perfection. My wife had a shrimp dish which was also excellent! All in all it was a great restaurant to experience Puerto Rican cuisine at its best.More

After 2 years away we visited the Krusty Krab in its new - slightly larger - still crowded - spot in downtown Dewey. And the food is still totally awesome. Some of the best fish ever. We brought our own beer, hunkered down, and enjoyed...our meal to the fullest. Be prepared for a different take on "ambiance," but the food is way worth it. And the Puerto Rican flag painted on the table tops? Excellent. If you like great seafood, grab some beer, wine, or premade margaritas, and get ready for a terrific meal. Highly recommended.More
