The food was lovely and the service was great I would go back again. Was easy to get to and parking was good as well.

Hi there, It is unfortunate to have to report back on the poor service and food provided by the restaurant kitchen. We ordered four meals with one noted as gluten intolerance. Where to start? 1.Wife had severe reaction to gluten. 2. The battered fish was...over cooked dry and hard. 3. Eye fillet was cold with potato hard as a rock. 4. Chips were cold and dried out like they had been left out. I was embarrassed to take guests to your restraint. I am a local, and will share my story with fellow residents? VERY DISAPOINTED.More

Customer service is a highlight of the Bargara Lakes. We stayed at Don Pancho and was advised discount meals would apply - all came true with a simple presentation of our room key and made it a very pleasurable evening at a very affordable cost...(even without discount). Food choices were varied and we all enjoyed our meals. Also loved the way the waitress was able to vary our order for youngest daughter who was a bit fussy - all done without any hassles whatsoever. We will be back.More

We eat here regularly, usually at lunchtime, and find the meals good value and the staff pleasant and helpful. There's an appealing outdoor area too.

Good reasonable priced lunch menu. Place was clean and service was good. A couple of trainees which missed a couple of things but everyone has to start somewhere right and a Tuesday lunch was probably a good time to start. Had the fish tacos and...pulled pork burger. We attended the Lakes Tavern for a Sunday Lunch and both had the Roast of the Day (lamb). The meal was the worst I have experienced! The meat was so dry and tough it was inedible. Also the supposed roast potatoes were undercooked. When the...waitress removed the uneaten meal it was explained to her that the meat was very dry and tough - she said she would tell the chef. There was absolutely no feedback from the kitchen. This was a most disappointing experience and I will not return and intend to let other travellers know how terrible that dining experience was.More
