Stayed here with Family in March 2017. On first impression the lodge cabins looked inviting and the part however actual comfort could be updated. Beds seemed to be way past their used by date and the lounge in the lounge room squeaked and had no support, the lounge I am certain dated back to the 90s. Usability of the cabin... More

We were not impressed with the quality of the food and level of service. We ate dinner and breakfast and were disappointed with their offering particularly when you are in the middle of nowhere and need to drive to get to another place to eat. Lemonthyme needs to start putting their guests first.

Simple but solid menu on offer with 1 or 2 specials per day. One thing to watch for is the "overflow" area at dinner which is basically the breakfast area and hence bathed in excess light. Not the most romantic candlelit experience. Ask to be moved if possible. Our booking for the second night was "lost" and we were initially... More

We ate here the two nights we stayed at the lodge. You need to book a table in the morning, which was OK for us but could be tricky for some as you need to predict what time you will return. The menu is fairly short, which is understandable given the location. There were about 6 entrees and mains, about... More

Arrived and checked in with a chef on reception, friendly but not so hot on the computer, and ripped chefs trousers not such a good look. Still the 'devon' room was amazing! What a view! And the spa was sublime! No info on amenities etc supplied though as a new print had to be done, so had to chase up... More

We spent one night in a luxury spa suite. We could easily have spent a week there. Beautiful room surrounded by beautiful grounds. I thoroughly appreciated the luxury bathroom and especially the spa bath after a full day hiking at Cradle Mountain. The staff were friendly and helpful. The feeding of the animals in the evening was a real treat.

Lemonthyme Lodge was well out of the way, but even though it was isolated there were lots of guests visiting. Meals were very good and the atmosphere of the dining room was very pleasant. Staff helpful and very friendly. Talking to some guests it sees they are regular visitors, and enjoy the visit each time.

We just spend 1 night but enjoyed it a lot. Although it is a little drive from the main road (10 km dirt road), you get what they offer: a wilderness retreat. The cabins are build on poles, so the view on the forest is really beautiful. We did the hike to Cethana lake, which for us was very doable... More

I recommend as the place is still close to its natural nature. Not modified too much. The building has a great cultural development history built by locals. The walking tracks are naturally presented and the wildlife are free in their wild natural habitat. The wildlife look best free, however they are easy to spot and they do feed them.
