One of our favourites in all of NZ. Fantastic service and food is superb to match. Must visit. Classic NZ food but done in a modern and delicious way. We'll definitely be back soon

Visited this restaurant last year and was blown away. Without hesitation booked here when recently back in Martinborough. Food was sublime, full of contrasting flavours that worked well. Service was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Excellent wine list with a number having a glass option. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. Portions were generous, so much so, that we did not... More

Got an early table for dinner and was seated promptly on arrival. Service was fantastic right from the start. We both had the signature dish of duck and it was delicious. I would recommend a side with this dish while it is a good portion size I have a bigger appetite. The dessert was amazing the deconstructed passion fruit cheesecake... More

Popped on here for a coffee and desert. Ordered a soy flat white and a green tea. The soy flat white was good. They can be a bit hit and miss but this was very enjoyable. We also ordered the coconut panacotta with mango sorbet and berry mousse. It also came with some mini meringue. It was $17.00 but expertly... More

At the end of our beautiful meal at Pinocchio tonight (chef's choice tapas which were ah-maze-ing), we were treated by Elly to a tasting of their new dessert. It's Paul's take on a deconstructed cheesecake with the creamiest most divine cheesecake mousse, the sharpest smoothest passionfruit curd and the zingiest mango sorbet. It was a smash hit and we had... More

Amazing service, ambience and food. Service was attentive but not too intrusive, pleasant surroundings that made me feel I was dining at the owners' home and pork belly with Asian flavours to die for.

Stunning fine dining meals in a quaint restaurant. A small menu but everything on the menu was devine. We were fortunate to get a last minute booking over easter and highly reccommened this spot.

It had taken our friends (who have family in the region) several visits over the years to get a table here and it did not disappoint on any level. These friends are true gourmands and they were delighted with their meal. Book well in advance is my advice.

We were in Martinborough for a wedding and had a family get together in this restaurant the night before the wedding. 20 of us were looked after really well. Great steak and lovely wine. All staff very friendly and efficient. Couldn't have asked for more.

Fine dining meets quaint bistro in the heart of Martinborough. The freshly baked bread with local olive oil was so delicious- a wonderful way to wash down a gorgeous pinot noir. We both had the fillet of beef w bacon croquettes and sweet potato purée. Every component was cooked beautifully and worked well together. We ended the evening with a... More
