We've eaten lunch here before, outside in the sun, and enjoyed the experience so thought we'd try again for dinner. My Nobashi Prawn starter was overly oily but the Mackerel pate was reportedly good. Again, the roasted Salmon and Duck Confit mains were applauded while...More

We turned up on speck on a miserable wet day looking forward to a nice lunch and sampling the wines but our request for a table at 13.50 was met with incredulity (and rudeness) as apparently the kitchen had just closed! What is it about...More

Four of us with birthdays around this time went for lunch (my treat). We were worried that it would be too windy to sit outside, but no problem at all. There were lots of blankets/rugs available if the weather changed. I did a wine tasting...More

The meal was great and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Their own wine was I think first class

A fine dining experience. Nice location, great service, lovely food. Try the pulled pork croquette - very tasty.

Great setting at this place. It was recommended by our B&B host and we had a great dinner. Even saw rabbits hopping around in the vineyard during dinner. Wines were great and we tasted some. I enjoyed the dessert most

The service is excellent and the steaks and fish are wonderfully prepared. The Ake Ake Sauvignon blanch is buttery and mellow made with Marlborough grapes. The setting is al fresco but roofed and all weather. Not to be missed.
