Never received a call back when I called for reservations. When I called a second time, the gentleman I spoke too displayed very poor phone skills and had a hard time answering questions, he could use some training on how to answer the phone and speak to customers. Next the wine list, while extensive, did make me laugh a bit,... More

This was an excellent place to stop for breakfast before heading out for our business meeting. The service was slow at times, but the quality of the food was outstanding and the coffee was strong. There is also a coffee bar on site, which I am unsure of being complimentary or not... but I think it may be.

Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food and service. The food was outstanding, esthetically prepared and delicious. The service was notch. We went early to eat before a play, so the restaurant was not crowded for a Saturday evening. Very nice open, airy feel and extra comfortable table and chairs.

Vinifera was surprisingly uncrowded on a Saturday night in Reston. Apparently, they cater more to a business crowd during the week. We ate on the patio. Took advantage of their 1/2 price special on a bottle of very good wine. The food was delicious and healthy (salmon, lentils, carrot puree). Service was excellent. A lovely dining experience. In the Westin... More

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I can be a bit picky and don't usually try anything new. Our server Maggie was knowledgeable and polite. She made recommendations and I tried and loved each one of them. I had the rock fish with a side of roasted Brussel sprouts with a glass of Riesling. My mom had... More

Vinifera is a hidden gem. Nestled in the Westin hotel you can enjoy tapas or seasonally prepared foods with fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits that are grown onsite in the large pots that surround the outdoor patio. I love this place and as a local, I prefer to come here for happy hour or dinner more than any other place... More

Lovely wine selection and I found a few delicious vegan options. The problem is trying to find the place. Your gps will get you to the parking lot and then you have to roam around trying to figure out where it is from there in the middle of two hotels and condo complexes. Once you get there it's worth it.... More

I had the opportunity to try the bar food selection and lunch during my stay. Both times the food was excellent. It is not a large selection they offer, but is the right choices and the quality for the food is fresh. At the bar I had late snack of a small of order of Lamb chops only that hit... More

When you are traveling on business, you generally want quality dishes, reasonable selection, and good service. The Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro delivers. Try the Salmon and if you like brussel sprouts (which is not all that popular), they do a very nice job. When you are staying at the Reston Westin Heights, it is most convenient to have a... More

Really nice place for dinner, wine tasting and some great cocktails. This restaurant is in the Westin in Reston Heights. There's a wine bar and a restaurant section. The menu is brief and changes based on availability but there will always be good options for vegetarian, carnivore, healthy dining, etc. I'm pretty carnivorous but one of the very best meals...
