We came here for an early dinner on a Saturday - I was thrilled that a Cuban restaurant came up in my search, because I didn't know there was any Cuban food here - I had the pork asado, and others at my table had the chicken breast and the breaded fish filet - all three with rice and black... It's out of the high traffic area and a great restaurant. Highly recommended. I have been here several times and never disappointed.

I wish I could say something nice however it's worn....the tablecloths were stained (first impression). I ordered the pork Asada with Mojo sauce. The sauce was salty to my taste and I asked for another option....I'm in a cuban restaurant...can I have some lime something or other. I was told there was no option. So I ate dry pork with... More

I was turned off first by the dirty tablecloth. Not just on ours but on couple other tables. My food and my sisters food came out cold. They nuked the beans for us. My nephews so called "soup" left a lot to be desired. Pretty bad when we all had to eat off my sisters plate because it was the... More

I'm still trying to figure out how this place has received 3 and more. The tablecloth was dirty. I ordered bistec palomino, my sister Puerco asado and both came out cold. We had to send the beans back to get reheated in the microwave--we could hear the microwave. The beans had the best flavor of anything on my dish and... More

Well, it is the best Cuban food in the area. Because, it's the only Cuban restaurant in the area. It's not bad. The place is clean and well kept. Food isn't bad. Compared to my grandmother's cooking, it's way below par. I had a good meal of the traditional black beans with rice y masita de puerco. But, I think... More

If you are looking for traditional Cuban food - this is the place in the Salem area. Great Cuban sandwiches and Ropa Vieja.

My family and I went there last night for dinner and it was really good. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our meal. The pork appetizer and mojo sauce was amazing. The Cuban sandwich was the best I've had in a long time. Definitely authentic food! A must try!

I have been here several times and love this place. I have a friend who came from Cuba and she says it's authentic. I recommend the garlic shrimp and the Ropa viejo, which my friend says everybody makes in Cuba.

This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. I had a roasted pork plate lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. A large portion of moist, well seasoned pork including a small salad, large portion of delicious rice and beans and some fried plantains for $6.99! I will definitely visit again.

Thank Tom B
