Just a good ole fashion little place to get some good eats and do some people watching in the summer. We enjoy coming here twice a year. We think the price is ok for us to come here occasionally but not often.

Children's menu; coloring paper and pencils; quick service; tables outside; good value for money. Large menu takes a while to get your head around but worth it!

The Corner Bakery catered a post-funeral "light lunch" gathering for our family and friends, and the food was outstanding. I loved the chicken salad on a dark bread with raisins & nuts in it (and I'm usually not a chicken salad fan). Others around me were raving about the delicious sandwiches. The salads were very good, and the desserts were... More

When we travel to Chicago, we hit the Corner Bakery several times each trip, but had no idea that there were locations in the Washington DC metro area. As we were checking into our hotel we drover right past this location in the Sterling Town Square area. We ate twice here during the long weekend, and each time it was... More

Tried to get a quick meal on this Sunday morning. Went in, waiting almost a minute before we were greeted. The gentleman was a bit startled to see us. He informed us that we would be waiting 15 minutes for our food. He then pointed to the screen with all back orders rudely. They had a crowd for sure- point... More

We are regulars here. We would prefer a more traditional, locally-owned diner, but they are few in number in this area and range of inconsistent in service to just plain bad. Corner Bakery never disappoints. Service is always friendly, food is good, and their range of dessert items are excellent, especially their lemon or strawberry cupcakes. What I like most... More

We ordered breakfast pick up and I had to wait 15 minutes past the scheduled pick up time; one would think that the food would be at least warm if one had to wait, but the only warm food was the food meant to be cold. We gave them a second chance for dinner a couple of days later; we... More

Stopped by on the way to the airport. My first reaction is this place is like a Panera, which it is in many ways. The staff was friendly and unlike Panera, they bring your order to your table. All our sandwiches were fine. What I thought was a little different is that over the years, the sandwich size at Panera... More

The food is what is unlikeable about this place. Interior and waitstaff were fine. I noticed a number of people bringing in food from other restaurants, such as McDonalds. I understood why once i ate the blah salad and sub par cuban sandwich. My son wouldn't even eat the Mac and Cheese.
