I stopped for brunch specifically for the pet friendly patio dining. Unfortunately you have to go inside to order so if your a solo traveler with a pet you will have to find another place to eat. Shame because the patio is gorgeous and I...More

I read about Hunter's Head Tavern in my Northern Virginia electric Co-Op magazine. They weren't wrong, the food is excellent and the service prompt. Recommend making reservations as the place was packed - another sure sign of how much folks enjoy eating here.

Enjoyed a mid-afternoon meal breaking up our Virginia byways country drive. A cosy inn in style of an English pub. Facility is attractive and traditionally rustic. Luckily we arrived at a slow time, so standing in front of wall mounted menu didn’t delay later guests...More

Great place if you miss the type of food you get at the typical British pubs. Good stuff and great beers with a terrific ambiance. Go for it!

The bread is warm and fantastic. Salads and sandwiches were great too. Fast friendly service with a very attentive waiter.

Odd ordering process, but a huge selection, and it's all good. The bread is great, and be careful not to make a meal of it!

Hunter’s Head is a delightful and delicious place to take business partners to lunch or dinner. The pub food is authentic and the selection of brews on tap hits the spot.

Well, they may not be "gourmet", in some other reviewers' words, but at our recent lunch, my friend and neighbor had a terrific, delicious dish of a trio of vegetarian salads, so I think they know vegetarian, and if you ask... More
