I drive by this place all the time but don't stop in it enough. Friendly service, outstanding food and definitely a family atmosphere. So rare now-a-days where the rounding-out part of the meal is kindness and pleasantries. Malbon Brothers is the whole hi-quality package. I will return and return and return. Great place

It is a good place to stop and fill up both you and the car. Fast service in a Mom and Pop setting. Local crowd the seems to know each other

Decided to try bbq....thought maybe it was smoked on premises like in NC. NOT! Maybe actually cooked with gas pumps on site....absolutely the worst I have had. Grease was dripping thru paper bag before I even got to my car. Cole slaw was scooped out of mammouth size plastic tub. Ended up throwing it away after couple of bites. ,

BBQ in a gas station. Great BBQ is not served in a gas station. Nothing special about this place. BBQ is bland and grease cover fries. Would pass on this place.

My mom wanted to go here. She said she read some great reviews. Bein in a gas station is no big deal to me. Like a general store or trading post. I can appreciate nostalgia. When I first walked to the counter the cook yells out "are yall having fries." Idk I haven't even looked at the menu yet but... More

We had an associate tell us about this place and I was thinking " dang is this going to be like gas station sushi" absolutely not !! This place had an amazing sandwich called the pigwich - I am not a big fan of NC style BBQ but this was so good we will be sure to visit every year... More

Don't be fooled by this 'greasy spoon', this place, which is indeed a gas station and car wash, has a lunch counter inside with AMAZING pulled pork (and other) barbecue. We got the standard large "boss hog" but my wife ordered a legit "sandwich" which is the pulled pork on Texas toast with fried pickles. It. Was. Amazing...

Malbon's may LOOK like a gas station and car wash, but it's oh so much more. Inside the Malbon convenience store, you'll find a food counter for fresh orders and a take home refrigerator section packed with the best pulled pork bbq at the beach, homemade coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans. The bbq is excellent, although I bought a... More

This was a great gas station/restaurant. We stopped and got gas, was given a free mug and I bought all my kids icecream which was reasonably priced for a quick stop place. Wonderful, smiling and very pleasant cashier.
