This is a great restaurant and one I have visited multiple times when I find myself in Warrenton. They have a great selection and this particular day, I had a great sandwich. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful spring day while we had a great lunch. The service is always very friendly and helpful. I have... More

Met a friend at the Black Bear Bistro today - neither of us had been here before. We enjoyed the home made cream of mushroom soup and split the large spinach salad with house-made hot bacon dressing - delicious. We had a nice quiet table for our visit, and our server was quite good. Would like to go back again... More

We decided to stop here and get some appetizers and a couple drinks. Black Bear is located in historic downtown Warrenton and easy to get to, but parking can be difficult. We went in and were seated right away in the bar area. The restaurant was clean and had a nice small town feel. People coming in knew others and... More

Love this restaurant. We were looking for something special and viewed their on line menu. Great a Scallops and Shrimp dish so we were sold! Made a reservation on line, no problem. Seated right away and service was spectacular. Witness stated that online menu hasn't been updated in a while so no scallops and shrimp dish. Ordered the trout (wild... More

My wife and I were in Warrenton for other errands, without the kids, so we were able to experiment a little. We're so glad we did...BBB was great. Brick oven yummy-ness, California wine, and super chocolate bread pudding. We will certainly visit again.

To start the wings are 1 of kind-smoked habenero so good. The steaks are grilled and the burgers are also grilled w/3 sizes. They have vegan and vegatarian options that are all good and I am neither. The chef of this place (Todd) also loves pizza and it is tossed downstairs. Good prices on everything they do and to boot... More

Superb wine and beer list. Maximizes space upstairs and downstairs resulting in neat environment. Soups, sandwiches and entrees offered great variety of very good options. Cuban sandwich was superb along with Calzone. Mushroom soup is a 'keeper'! Staff was very attentive and truly customer-oriented.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews I had high hopes for a great dinner. Our waitress was great. They have a good selection of local beers and whiskey. Food was good- we ate upstairs, which only has a few tables. The pizza was good-not out of this world. I thought for what we ordered it was expensive- a $14 pizza for... More

Good menu, good beer. Enjoyed my pizza very much. Other things FS on the menu sounded great. And very nice ambience. I'd go back!
