We have gone to this restaurant through different renditions, the latest being one that is located in a small strip mall on Jamestown Rd. in Williamsburg. We really enjoyed the restaurant when it was located in a historic building colonial Yorktown, but they have since...More

This is a small restaurant located in Williamsburg, Virginia. The menu offers fresh and different foods such as their homemade tomato/basil soup and their carrot cake is the best. During the year they offer "high" tea with a speaker.

Disappointing ...food poorly prepared ...Brunswick stew was barely vegetable soup...service was rushed for no apparent reason...a slice of white bread cost a dollar.

Stopped for a quick lunch and we weren’t disappointed! The Brunswick Stew was delicious and hearty. My husband ordered the Tuna Melt and he enjoyed it as well. My boys ordered the PB&J and the cheeseburger which were big servings and satisfying. The Meyer Lemon...More

Something about decor which is 100% all about carrots seems a tad creepy. But the food was just right for lunch after visiting the Jamestown historic site. Sandwiches, crepes, quiche, Soup, iced tea. What's wrong with that?

Carrot Tree moved from a small place on Jamestown Rd in Williamsburg to a larger location near Jamestown and Rt 199. Food is still great and the baked goods are delicious.

Loved the lunch, great place to take friends, colleagues or a business meal. Warm inviting atmosphere, great staff and the bakery...Of course the bakery display case greets you when you enter the front door. So you cannot leave without purchasing a carrot cake, better than...More

Dining at Carrot Tree is always a pleasant experience. The chicken salad sandwich with bacon was good for brunch today. My daughter got a Mimosa, and I enjoyed a Bloody Mary to celebrate a special occasion for her. She ordered the BBQ sandwich, and my...More

Breakfast or lunch... We've never been disappointed. Light and airy in their new location, food is tasty, presented artfully, and, dare I say, healthy. All those carrots!

Ate breakfast at the Carrot Tree on my way out of Williamsburg and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Southern Grits Bowl with sausage, peppers and cheesy grits and it was wonderful. My son had a house stack (3 pancakes) of pecan pancakes and could...More

The Carrot Tree offered high tea in afternoons earlier this year. They were popular and reservations were necessary. I would suggest, as others have, that you call, discuss possible selections and reserve, if necessary.
