As locals we eat here on a regular basis, at least once a month and we know the owners fairly well after having been patrons for over 25 years. Now, their fare is Southern, so some things may seem out of the ordinary or slightly...More

Love this place after visting Jamestown. The food was amazing, the place is cozy and historical, and the desserts heavenly.

My wife and I made a special trip to Williamsburg to have lunch at the Chickahominy House. It is in an old building outfitted with antique furniture with blends well with the colonial brunch. We had Miss Melinda's special which consisted of a peach and...More

This 18th century home serves up some mighty fine vittles. Stopped for breakfast, and was not disappointed. Eggs, Virginia ham, bisquits, and more ... all darn right tasty. The restaurant is in a home converted to serving food, and has a small gift shop, as...More

I have been eating here since I went to college in the 1980’s. The food is the same. It’s always great and they don’t feel the need to mess with perfection. Try the Brunswick stew; it is the best in the United States.

I don't think they take reservations. Go early because it gets crowded quickly.
