There is a reason why this restaurant is one of the top fine dining places in the city, and I would venture in the Mid Atlantic. The food is just superb! The ambience is cozy, quiet (despite the full house) beautifully lit and the service,...More

Of the three restaurants we visited this week, Fat Canary was the favorite. I started with an arugula salad with duck prosciutto topped with a fried duck egg and it was amazing. The special was halibut topped with crab meat and it was perfectly cooked....More

Had a birthday dinner with wife, daughter and boyfriend. This place never fails us. Waiter was attentive, apps were good, entrees were spot on (although the scallops were drier than preferred), and wine was good too. The owner came by to check on things and...More

This is a small restaurant in the small commercial area between Old Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary. The menu is small but has interesting appetizers and entrees. We shared tuna tartar for an appetizer, and one of us had scallops and...More

We made a reservation but canceled the day of the reservation to go elsewhere. They had been so rude on the phone and rude on our last visit that we opted to go elsewhere for dinner (where we had a great time)

Fat Canary is an exceptional restaurant - and will offer you a variety of options. Anything you select will meet the highest standards. It is not a steakhouse - I’m in Bangalore and jet lagged. My last response was confusing. More

This high-energy bistro took over as Williamsburg's best restaurant as soon as it opened in 2003. The sophisticated but relaxed dining room has an open kitchen, which uses fresh, local ingredients for its creative American fare. The dining bar and seasonal outdoor patio seating are on a first come basis. Reservations for the dining room are recommended and may be made up to 2 months in advance. Open daily for dinner, a hostess is available during the day to take reservations.
