The ribs appetizer and the short rib entree were spectacular. They were so tender and the fat was rendered perfectly. Having said this, don't get the ribs appetizer with a heavy entree because the portion for the appetizer was huge! The fois gras appetizer was...More

I had the duck entree with a glass of wine. Waiters were really nice. Food was served promptly. It was very good. Unfortunately a bit expensive. One entree and a glass of wine were around 50 USD, tips included.

A great place for foodies, small but great menu. A little pricey, but worth it. Really a great place for special occasion

We love going to the Fat Canary for special date nights or anniversaries. It can be a little pricey, but the food is delicious!

We accompanied friends to this lovely and lively (but still quiet enough for good conversation) spot at the edge of Colonial Williamsburg for drinks and an early dinner. I so enjoyed the expertly made martini as we looked over the creative menu. I was mesmerized...More

My family loves this place. We don’t get to come here as often as I’d like but when we do we pig out! Loved the profiteroles. A pleasant and perfect dining adventure.

Fat Canary is an exceptional restaurant - and will offer you a variety of options. Anything you select will meet the highest standards. It is not a steakhouse - I’m in Bangalore and jet lagged. My last response was confusing. More

Description
This high-energy bistro took over as Williamsburg's best restaurant as soon as it opened in 2003. The sophisticated but relaxed dining room has an open kitchen, which uses fresh, local ingredients for its creative American fare. The dining bar and seasonal outdoor patio seating are on a first come basis. Reservations for the dining room are recommended and may be made up to 2 months in advance. Open daily for dinner, a hostess is available during the day to take reservations.
