I found this restaurant very disrespectful. Twice we ordered something and it came back wrong both times. We told the waitress we did not want to pay for it since we did not eat it. It was on the bill so I talked to the...More

Truly appetizing French-inspired food with a breakfast menu that includes a particularly hearty breakfast platter priced around $12--similar to the prices of a hearty breakfast at many local pancake houses but with increased quality and flair. Very pleased with Parisian hot chocolate (quite rich). Country-French...More

The Blue Talon was absolutely the best meal we had while in Williamsburg, VA. The food was amazing. It is French inspired and the flavors were magnificent. The French wine pairings just added to the meal. The desserts were absolutely wonderful as well. The service...More

Each member of our party ordered an interesting entree. Food was delivered quickly and was very hot. My husband loved his pot roast and my salmon was delicious. A bit of a delay on deliveringvthe winecbut we did get our beverages.

We took two of our grandchildren - ages 7 and 9 to visit Colonial Williansburg. There were few opportunities to introduce the kids to good eats, but Blue Talon was good enough to lead the kids to want to eat there on three consecutive days....More

The food on average is very good, but pricey, very pricey, we have gone to the Blue Talon Bistro before, but this time was a special occasion. We ordered mussels and they had sand in them, and the worst sauce I have ever tasted, very...More

The wine selection was great & most of our party liked their meals. The mac & cheese was wonderful & large enough to share. The pot roast was served in a cute dish, but the gravy could've been thicker & more flavorful.

Went here for lunch and it was really good. Staff and servers were attentive and very polite. This looked to be popular with the locals from the area. Great lunch place after you have been walking around all day.

Came for brunch on a recommendation from a friend and was blown away. Not crowded which is abnormal for Colonial Williamsburg. We had coffee, croissants (fluffy and fresh), truffled eggs(so rich), the beef hash, a cocktail, and a glass of rosé and all items were...More

I have never made reservations, and have been very lucky with either a short wait or no waiting time. During busy times, it might be good to make reservations. It is very popular, and worth the wait if needed. Ever meal... More
