Good counter service. Food delivered hot and tempting. Room temperature could have been warmer. We kept our jackets on.

I really enjoyed this restaurant with my daughter-in-law before a show. It was fun and fits right in with Bellingham's on-the-go crowd. The menu board was very easy to read and fun to select the ingredients. Soup comes in a huge bowl and could really...More

So I had to try this place. I love all types of noodle soups and Dashi didn't disappoint. I found it a bit over priced for what you get, but still worth a try. I ordered the ramen and dashi broth with pork slices. Everything...More

The environment is nice, its a clean place and the food was ok. Although, there are other places where you can eat great noodles for half of the price (with much better service). $ 37 for two bowls of noodles and two non alcoholic beverages...More

Dashi is a well appointed little noodle house. The decor is simple and clean - as is the restaurant itself. There is a large selection of saki to drink, which we did not sample. The theme is basically build-your-own noodle dishes. You select from the...More

Love the new location - feels very "urban" in our little city. Twice I've had the chicken steamed bun with curry sauce. It's fantastic! The iced tea with honey syrup is so yummy I want to go daily for more. The atmosphere is enjoyable for...More

So a little background, my husband and I tried to get to Dashi one day while it was still a "noodle bar" outside. Unfortunately it was raining when we got there, and we decided on somewhere else so we didn't have to stand and get...More

BTW, This place is not at 207 Unity anymore. They moved to 1311 N. State St in January! Dashi is awesome! How it works is you get a choice of "Toppings" (Chicken, Beef, Pork, Tofu, etc.) for you soup and that's how the price is...More

I was really happy to find a vegan noodle soup option at this this new little downtown joint. I had the vegetable/tofu/ramen/mushroom combo. The grilled tofu was very good and the ramen was perfect in firmness and texture. I always add chili paste, cilantro and...More
