Stopped for lunch and coffee. We shared some chicken strips and onion rings. The fries were great and lots of them. Onion rings were delicious and the chicken strips were very good. We could not eat it all even between 2 people. Definitely a place to stop at and we will be back.

Happened upon this little treasure while driving from Bellingham to Whidbey Island. Feels like a step back in time, in the good sense! Friendly, clean, good vibe.

We stopped for lunch at the only restaurant that was open at the time and saw just one other car car parked there when we pulled in. We chose a table outside as it was a nice day and enjoyed the view of Edison across the nice flower boxes. All of a sudden more people showed up and it appears... More

We were regulars at the Edison Cafe since we are locals until it was sold, the food USED TO BE amazing along with the service. We've gone back a couple times to try out the new owner, dissapointed everytime. Food comes cold and tastes like Pam cooking spray. The service was crummy and since its a small place (seats less... Used to be amazing, but our last visit was a huge let down. Food for four took 40 minutes, even in an almost empty restaurant, and even then one meal wasn't ready and took another 5 minutes. Service was dismal. No smiles, no apology for the long wait or the food not coming up together, no quality check. Food was... More

The Edison Cafe has been a local treasure for over 70 years. Several owners have had a hand in making this a favored spot for the most delicious breakfasts and lunches. The new owners have continued the tradition of great food and you're sure to find what you want in their full menu. My wife and I love it here;... More

The cafe is very small (about 8 tables/booths & a half dozen bar stools), but it feels homey and comfortable. It was jammed when we were there, so service was slow -- more from the kitchen than the server. My grilled ham & swiss on sourdough was excellent, with really good ham and cooked nicely. The servings of fries are... More

Small with very personal care given by the staff . A great place for a full helping lunch or breakfast of quality foods . All local ingredients used
