The Rusty Pelican has a large breakfast menu of items to choose from. They have very good service, "endless good coffee" served with thick, real cream if you like cream in your coffee. They offer a large selection of freshly made pastries, delicious pancakes and breakfast skillets. I would describe their food as as a good, old fashioned American comfort... More

Went to a late breakfast early lunch in Edmonds WA. We ate at the Rusty Pelican. We were met by very friendly staff and seated immediately, but I understand it can be very busy on the weekend. My girlfriend had the Swedish pancakes with a blackberry compote. They were very good. I had the gyro and enjoyed it a lot.... More

Was really good! We waited 45 minutes though which is quite long for my liking but we heard only good things so we decided to stick it out! The coffee comes with fresh cream, super thick and delicious. The fresh orange juice was great. And we got our food within 10 min of ordering. The place was packed too. I... More

Have been there for both breakfast and lunch. Food is excellent and the service is great. Oatmeal is so creamy, with lots of toppings to choose from. Salmon sandwich is very tasty. Everything is so fresh. Real cream for coffee.

Had lunch with friends here on a Saturday. I chose one of the breakfast skillets, and it was tasty, hearty and satisfying. We had such a great time chatting over lunch that we had to leave so the restaurant, which only serves breakfast and lunch, could close.

Really yummy breakfast. Good coffee served with real rich cream. Ordered combo number 4 eggs, sausage and crepe. I substituted the regular strawberry crepe for lemon. To die for if you like sweet and tart! They know how to make poached eggs properly and the sausage links are very high quality meat. Not a grease bomb. The only thing I... More

Before taking the ferry boat to Kingston, WA on the Puget Sound, we stopped in Edmonds where there was a street market in progress on this particular early Saturday morning in late September. The Rusty Pelican Café’s open door was inviting us inside for breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy with interesting eclectic décor and beautiful hanging artwork. The wait staff... More

We joined friends here for what we thought might be 'coffee', having no idea that this place offers so much more. We ended up having brunch. Warm friendly service. Ice water. Unending cups of coffee. The food was very good, huge servings, huge choice. I had potato pancakes, which I love. Be warned, these are not latkes, these are huge... More

My friend and I stopped by this cafe after reading the menu that had many dishes I wanted to try. A weekday morning visit to the cafe was not too busy and the service quick and efficient. I selected the egg and bacon breakfast with pancakes but upgraded to the lemon curd pancakes which were really delicious. Thin pancakes with... More
