Not authentic Mexican but its a higher end americanized with great taste! Always busy when it's nice outside, a lot of people hanging out by the water and park on nice sunny days making it hard to get in to eat at a decent waiting period. I've always tried something different on the menu and haven't had any dislikes yet.

I love their Mexican Lemonade. The food is awesome too. Try their chicken fried chicken dish. The sauce is amazing. One of my fave spots to eat.

Many, many thanks to Cactus manager Jessica L. for her assistance in reissuing a birthday gift certificate that was lost in the mail through no fault of the restaurant. Love it when a business and their employees go above and beyond for their customers!

Despite decent chips, salsa and guacamole this restaurant merits a pass. Our mains were simply of poor quality: bland beans tasting only of cumin; over-cooked, bland rice; skirt steak was cut too thick and tough because of it; carnitas tasted like sugar due to all the pineapple. Even the onion escabeche was loaded with sugar. Really some of the worst... More

Have been a regular at Cactus in Kirkland for years. Loved this place but since the remodel it seems they are trying to recoup remodeling cost by going with cheap ingredients. Everything from their salsa & chips, the mix in the margarita to the tortilla's. The steak fajitas were not sizzling hot, didn't have roasted bell peppers, just a lot... More

Great food & good service. Recently remodeled but bar is still pretty small. Get there early for Happy Hour. Parking can be a bother.

Great food and very resonably priced. Clean and nice atmosphere. Service wasn't great, but I think our server was new.

In the first place, I hate writing bad reviews. In the second place, I have a cast-iron stomach. All over the world I have shrugged off dubious hygiene and not so fresh food and colorful local customs. This place always been the (insert bland american chain here) of Tex-Mex food for me so I was never really a fan. However,... More

Been here a couple of times for lunch. Today it was prawn & corn tamale for me, stacked squash & goat cheese enchilada for my friend. Service is prompt and food is really fresh and large portion.
