This is the place to go for a local, home town South Whidbey island experience. Comfort food abounds and the service is friendly and comfortable. Full meals or just for a cup of coffee with friends.

I thought we should give it a try again. My husband had the prime rib which was overcooked as was the broccoli which was mush. I had the sauteed oysters which were awful. Soft, over age with a bad tinge. Hopefully I won't get sick. For all the people there (most were eating hamburgers) you would think they could get... More

We very much enjoy this cafe. The menu has all the great food that a cafe should have. It's not always quick to get food if you come when there is a rush. But the food is worth waiting for. Go when you have a chance to relax and visit with family or friends.

We came here on the recommendation of a friend. This is family style restaurant offering delicious meals reasonably priced. The restaurant displays historical photographs of the local area which add to the atmosphere. We ate breakfast and lunch and left satisfied each time. The service is excellent.

We ordered fried chicken, when we got if finally it was raw. Unfortunately my partner had taken a bite out of two of the chicken pieces. When we showed the waitress, she replied, not to worry as it was soaked in salt water or such. She took it back to the kitchen and returned with the same eaten on pieces.... More

Neil's is the "go to" for those of us that live in the Bayview area who want a diverse menu that features local, organic meat and vegetables. Great for breakfast - and very popular on the weekends. Good lunch menu that includes burgers, BLT with avocado, patty melt, all good, and just about anything you can imagine on the dinner... More

I expected more since everything around here is so good, but this was a typical "breakfast joint". Nothing to write home about.

Good ole American breakfast, lunch and dinners. Being a baker, I like to test these treats when out. Their carrot cake and banana cream pies are delicious!!

It was so busy, they had one menu for me to share with my husband and daughter. Then, they came back 4 times to ask for the menu back, as they had seated other customers and needed the menu. Seems like a reaturant should have as many menus as they have chairs. Also, it too 45 min for basic breakfast.... More

Sometimes you have friends getting together to play music other night to play Trivial Suit other times you just want home cooking in a salad with croutons and beets. Everyone is super friendly and unrushed. A great place to take children they have dishes that they will enjoy there's always always a Blackboard with all the specials and two soups... More
