This charming European style eatery is a filled with atmosphere, delicious pastries, very good quality meals AND great espresso! They have an excellent menu with high quality ingredients. It is very busy & full up at certain times but worth the wait.

We ate at the Bread Peddler Bistro connected to the bread Peddler and had poached eggs and the best bacon EVER. Very well done but the atmosphere and prices were a bit too much and we wish we had just eaten at the main peddler. They did have mimosas which was also nice however.

Had dinner here twice once as a couple and then two weeks later a family dinner for 7. The decor is excellent and redolent of an old time French restaurant. This doesn't somehow continue into the ambience or service. Very little exchange with the waiting staff, I would have liked more information about the menu. I could, of course, have... More

This is a great addition to Olympia restaurant fare. The menu is simple with soup and sandwich choices. There are also slices of various kinds of quiche. Of course, the bread is excellent as are all the special desserts and pastry selections. It reminds me of a boulangerie in Paris. A simple lunch will be around $10, more if you... More

Was surprised by this quaint little shop. Had lunch with family here and had the French Onion soup which was excellent. Crunchy cheese on the top and served with crustini and a salad. Order at the front and served at table. Staff cordial and attentive. Prices reasonable. Would go again!

We have gone to Bread Peddler for over 7 years. Consistently the highest quality and busy atmosphere of a place you know is great upon entry. Sometimes slow if you order from kitchen, but always worth the wait.

We enjoy each time we are able to make it over to Bread Peddler. It's geared more towards self service but they do have staff out keeping things clean. It's the perfect casual spot for breakfast even with little ones .

Stopped here for lunch, based on the recommendations of friends who said it was the best bakery ever, anywhere. I don't think I'd go that far, but it was quite tasty--I had a croque monsieur with mushrooms that was delicious--and the baked goods were yummy, but not exceptional. Staff were friendly, and quick to offer us seating in the back/bistro... More

The baked goods are excellent, whether sweet or savory is your choice. The breads are good, but not outstanding. Whatever you are looking for, go early. The place is so popular that available selection will likely be limited if you are not.

We liked the cool, clean atmosphere of the Peddler Bistro. Slate walls, wood tables, cloth napkins, a nice wine rack and white china. However, the pricey fare did not live up to expectations. The verte salad seemed like nothing more than bagged greens with olive oil and vinegar for nine dollars, sacre bleu! My entree looked mouth-watering: pan-seared scallop with... More
