Hanazono is a small, unique cafe serving Japanese influenced cuisine, so expect clean and distinct tastes throughout the menu. We favor starting with a crisp spring roll or, if more than two diners at the table, an order of gyoza to share. Our favorite dishes...More

We got into town hungry for lunch and this was right around the corner from our hotel. This is a nice street and the restaurant is next to the Rose Theater. We weren't expecting a great ramen bar in this small town with a great...More

We had heard this was a great place for Japanese food. I did't see much "Japanese" on the menu so I had sushi. It was pretty good. One of my rolls had way too much lime juice so that you really couldn't taste any other...More

Interesting Asian noodle and other dishes on the menu. It's usually busy in the summer and on weekends all year. Friendly helpful staff.

I love the noodle soups especially at Hanazono, but the sushi, and especially the sake, are both great! My only wish would be for them to be open all afternoon as we often like to eat around 4pm. Staff could be a little more friendly,...More

My wife had the yakiudon noodles while I had the sunny day sashimi dish. Both were good, though not great. As for the noodles, I thought the taste was a little strong and could have been dialed back a little. I liked my sashimi dish...More

Lots of great choices and more than noodles for sure, we both had a large bowl but different soup bases. Good to the end, we will return next visit to try other selections of the extensive menu.

The price for a bowl of noodles? I don't remember seeing that on the menu. We were there for the sushi, but like most places these days they likely have the menu on their website.
