Ordered Pad thai with tiger prawns. Receive a plate of noodles with the prawns in the noodles WITH THE SHELLS STILL ON. Obviously I am used to American dishes where the prawns do not have to be dug out of your food, wait until they are cooled and then spend nearly 10 minutes trying to peel off a shell before... More

Being under new ownership led me to try what I hoped was a better Banana Leaf..GREAT..FOOD.. I thought the items I selected were really good.I will definitely have the chicken cashews wrapped in lettuce leaves again. I noticed several plates go by that tweaked my interest..

This place changed hands in late summer 2016, for the better I think. The staff is well organized, attentive and accommodating. Decor is updated Asian, with soothing classical music in background. Good atmosphere, as patrons seem happy. Everything on the blackboard is good, save room for dessert. The Thai coffee, however, is an acquired taste - which we haven't :)... More

greeted, seated fast, thursday around 6pm. But...our order was taken, but she was so much of a rush to get back to cooking, that she walked off before we were through. The hot tea came in a while, but the water in the pot and in the glass tasted off. The tea was just a regular green tea bag, with... More

I'll give em a little break because we went at 6pm on Fri. but this was bad. I think they need to work out some kinks and pull it together.

Banana Leaf, in terms of atmosphere, is a clear cut above 1-2-3 Thai (we walked out of 1-2-3 when we saw that the number of tables was about 6, the door was open to let in the cold march wind, and the smells and the noise of the open kitchen were nearly overpowering). The atmosphere at Banana Leaf was lovely,... More

Stopped in for a date night with my wife. The place is a quaint nice atmosphere restaurant to take your special someone too. The food is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. Stop in and give this place a try and I bet you will want to return as soon as you can.

My father and I have eaten here quite often and whether we go in and dine or I carry out, the staff is more than accommodating and friendly. I always feel welcome even when I come in alone. The food is really incredible and I've lived all over and love Thai!

Three of us ate lunch here on Christmas day. We had been told this was a good local Asian/Thai restaurant. The food was well below average for Thai restaurants in Western Washington. Even the pad Thai was off. Based on this dining experience, I would not return to this establishment.
