This was our second and probably last meal at the salmon house. When we arrived, the entire main dining room was occupied by a writers conference. Approximately sixty percent of the table space is in this room, with the remainder of the restaurant meandering around on a lower level. This conference was obviously an event which had been booked in... More

Our group of 5 came in on a busy weekend evening, and the service was excellent despite a packed house. Three of us got the Cajun spiced salmon and none of us regretted it! So delicious. The desserts had been made by our server, and she did a fantastic job as well. Must stop here if you're looking for a... More

Though the interior is stuck in the early 80s, the food was first rate. It is directly lakeside with plenty of large windows, plus a small outside deck. Limited menu with local fare plus a few steak choices and "bar" food also. It has a small, but fresh salad bar. The wait staff was very attentive and pricing is appropriate.

A little pricey but the food was great! I think we had our best meal of our two week trip here - the salmon was outstanding!

We ate here after hiking all day and wanting an early dinner. Husband and I shared the seafood dinner for two and it was delicious. The kids had a cheeseburger know a cheeseburger kids meal which was more like the size of a regular meal and had great flavor. Waitress was awesome and had a full house to handle all... More

Dinner was very good. We had two blackened salmons, one broiled and a tempura cod. Served with baked potato / french fries / spaghetti. Definitely a great spot around to stop by. We had not realized before actually going in that they had a room in the back, where we were served, which was way fancier than what you see... More

You can't beat the atmosphere of the Lake Quinault Lodge, but for dinner at least, the food down the road at Salmon House is where it's at -- superior selection and value and often better quality. We came at a particularly busy time when they were understaffed and we had to wait around 15 minutes for a table, but once... More

While planning our west coast road trip, I discovered this place as its part of the Rain Forest Resort Village. Way before we left for our trip, we planned to stay at the resort and eat at the Salmon House. We were not disappointed. Service, atmosphere and food were all excellent. Try the Blackened Salmon - yum!!

Casual restaurant with really good food. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which is not to be missed, served with cream cheese, capers, and crackers; followed by the pan-seared Northwest oysters which were excellent. Husband enjoyed his fried mushrooms appetizer. Service was good but not spectacular. View of Lake Quinault was very relaxing.
