We have been at Bookwalters for dinner this week and the food was excellent. The ingredients are fresh, the presentation is beautiful and the fried avocado is incredible. What started as a wine bar with light fare is now a full blown up scale restaurant. Great for date night or with a small group of friends.

Each time I return to the Tri-Cities area, this is my first requested place to go eat. Their bacon wrapped dates appetizer is worth the trip but go ahead and stay for the rest of the meal! This time, the soup of the day was an excellent tomato bisque. I tried one of their pizzas for something different and it... More

My wife and I recently had dinner at Fiction, Bookwalter's restaurant and what a great meal! The Valentine menu was great top to bottom. My wife had the pork tenderloin and I had the wagyu tenderloin, both were some of the best tasting meals we have had in a long time. Always a great atmosphere and wine and it is... More

Simple and exciting lunch. Avocado Fries and bacon wrapped dates in a red wine glaze. Follow by lamb burgers. The wine is our favorite, Protagonist. Perfect lunch date with my husband. Loved it

Looks like an in place. We only had appetizers and wine flight, not dinner. We thought the antipasti plate very scimpy and the wine flight pricey.

We really enjoyed our dinner, so much so that we returned the next day for lunch and wine tasting. Both experiences were very good. Wines were delicious too.

We enjoyed the wines. The chenin blanc was surprisingly good, but the real stars were the merlot (foreshadow) and the protagonist, a blend of cab and syrah.

Like to try winery restaurants when we are in wine country, so stopped in here. (Also because there isn't a whole lot of fine dining in the Tri-Cities area.) Wine list is only their wines, which is to be expected, but might be a problem if you don't like their wines. Only 3 beers on tap on and only 3... More

A nice winery with a good restaurant. Try the avocado fries appetizer, very good! I had the steelhead trout salad also very tasty. The Protagonist wine is quite good but a bit expensive at $60 per bottle.

We arrived during the “Happy Hour” window and decided to share 4 starters instead of meals. The ones from a special small menu section were 25% off. The wine pours were 50% off and generous. Our server took our order but someone else brought our food. Our choices were generally very good but I had ordered the popcorn chicken and... More
