Lovely venue.
Visited for brunch.
I always order the wrong thing!
I’ll start with our seating. Arrived and promptly seated at table with banquette seating. I’m short so I sat in the chair facing the banquette. Nice touch is they had pillows for your back on the banquette.
Now the menu. I had checked on line but hadn’t decided. I made a quick decision to have the breakfast croissant with egg cheese and bacon.
And that’s what I got! Not even a piece of melon or anything else on the plate!
DH had fish and chips (truffle fries!) and it was delicious (I had a bite)
Friend 1 Grilled cheese on brioche with bowl of tomato soup said it was yummy.
Friend 2 avocado and turkey club sandwich with bacon and cup of tomato soup said it was yummy.
We all passed on beverages.
Service was prompt and non intrusive.

Highly recommend Copperleaf Restaurant. We arrived on Halloween, and were promptly seated at a table we were allowed to choose. It was quiet and cozy - as we eat early since we are from the east coast! We were celebrating our 30th anniversary , and our waitress provided us with a free pour of great champagne. We proceeded with warm olives & almonds (yummy), Dungeness Crab Risotto (amazing), Wild King Salmon (perfection) with a Spanish Rioja wine (dry with hints of spice). No room for dessert!
The next morning, we had breakfast around 7:30am. Seated in front of the fireplace on a chilly morning! Great coffee, freshly brewed and large amounts of food: steel cut oatmeal cooked in almond milk w/berries, brown sugar, and raisins (hubby) and toasted bagel with salmon lox and cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. We took half the food back to our suite and had it the next morning!
We started our evening at the bar! Greg, the bartender, recommended a Scotch blend only available at Cedarbrook Lodge. Hubby enjoyed it and I had a glass of white wine. The restaurant was busy as there was some sort of business events so Greg recommended that we order to-go, and take it back to our suite to enjoy. It was the BEST burger and fries we had in awhile, and the bottle of red wine was the perfect accompaniment. We certainly appreciated Greg, and the service he offered!
On our return visit (from Vietnam), we had dinner. This time we ordered the Dungeness Crab Risotto (yes it is that good), and I had the Salmon Toast with the Smoked Crab Chowder (wonderful). The food is not inexpensive (as we love fresh seafood) but we found the portions to be large, the money well spent, and the service exceptional.

We were in the bar having a few drinks and when the clock struck 6:00 we realized we were hungry. So hubby had the salad with steak and blue cheese (he said it was good) & and I had the smoked salmon on a baguette and OMG that salmon was to die for!!! You could taste its smokiness, wow, mind was blown. Crème brûlée was good too and not a chintzy serving either! Nice spot…good job guys!

We have been to Copper leaf before. Usually quite good and innovative. Marco was an excellent waiter but the food was pretty poor. Burger was served over cooked and chicken was bland and dry. The $21 cocktails were good. Very expensive and not as good as in the past. There are bread plates but no bread even offered. I’m not sure I’ll be back unless something changes dramatically.

The lodge is cute with a warm wood feeling. That's a nice switch considering how close it is to the airport and the types of properties you generally have near airports. However, we came to eat only.
The first problem was it took 20 minutes to receive our drinks, our non-alcoholic drinks. By the time she returned, we had more than been ready to order, but she set down our drinks and started to walk away. She could tell I was surprised she was walking away so she stopped and asked if I had a question. I told her we were ready to order. So she did take our order and the rest of the meal proceeded in a timely manner.
But the food was average. I ordered a cheese plate for an appetizer. The cheese looked like it had been sitting out where the cheese gets a bit hard on the outside to try to explain it in words. The salted butter was nice, but the rolls, while warm, standard rolls. I ordered the beef which was okay, but oddly "meaty" looking. It was undercooked to my temperature but not enough to send back. The potato gratin rested in oil? butter? and not something I enjoyed. We wouldn't return.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know what you thought about your meal with us. It saddens us to know that our dining was not up to par though. We're so sorry to hear about the timing issue you had and that you didn't feel the food wasn't the best. We understand you don't feel you'd return, but we'd love it if you gave us another chance.

We arrived here late, around 8:30, after a cancelled flight and being rerouted to Seattle. We booked this hotel specifically because they had an on-site restaurant and we knew we would need to feed our 3 kids. The hotel and the restaurant didn't seem to communicate. When we checked in the hotel really pushed the restaurant, but when we arrived at the restaurant, they told us they were full with reservations for the evening. That seems like something worth communicating to the front desk, so they don't push the restaurant any further.
The hostess sat us in the bar, and while they bar did honor our table, they told her no one else who came in could order food, including room service or carryout because the kitchen was so overwhelmed.
All that background to say, the bartender, Ben, who took care of us was wonderful. He had many customers and was the only one working and never seemed overwhelmed or stressed. He was friendly, efficient and took care of us. The food was very good. Despite the staff saying the kitchen was overwhelmed, the food didn't take an unreasonable amount of time. I am not sure this is a destination restaurant, but it's definitely a great hotel restaurant. They just need to work with the actual hotel to communicate availability!

Fantastic dinner and Donna our server was absolutely wonderful. She made a great recommendation for wine when we were looking through the list and her suggestion for dessert was on point later too. The bistro cut flat iron steak was exceptional and the maitake mushrooms were a surprisingly delightful accompaniment to the meat. The Yukon gold sourdough gratin was decadent. The burger that my partner got was delicious too. Generous portions but not overwhelming! Stopping here before or after a trip via SeaTac airport is one of my favorite ways to travel!

If you like a bagel and lox that's smothered (and I mean smothered -- oozing over the sides, drowning out any other tastes) with os·ten·ta·tious·ly spiced cream cheese, then this is the place for you. Grilled cheese that tasted like it was grilled on a Sterno? Blah! The redeeming aspect: a terrific, very professional waiter who seemed to know that his kitchen staff were rank amateurs.

Met some out of town friends who were flying thru Seattle at the Copper leaf for dinner. The hustle bustle of SeaTac and the "seedy" strip of highway 99 near the airport are generally not a place I'd look for fine dining in a city full of great restaurants. The Copper leaf at Cedar brook Lodge was just surprisingly close to SeaTac yet miles away in atmosphere and quality. The lodge has a upscale feel of a resort. The restaurant at the lodge-The Copper leaf did not disappoint. Great beverage selection, generous portions of entrees featuring mostly locally ingredients. Attentive staff and service. We enjoyed being able to actually talk to our friends during the meal-very pleasant experience. Not cheap eats but the quality for service, food and beverage was worth it.

We had breakfast here while staying at the lodge before our flight home, it was average, at best.
The ambiance is very nice, the dining room is very open with high ceilings.
We were seated quickly (it was very quiet and there was no wait when we arrived), they took our order quickly and the food was hot and served in under 15 minutes. The staff were all courteous and professional.
We had chocolate chip pancakes and the complete breakfast. The food was good, but average and very expensive for what we got.
If you’re staying at the lodge, give it a try, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Super friendly and helpful staff from the minute you check in at the desk until you are seated. Manny was the server, knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list.
Really good local made bread and salted butter came out with water. Enjoyed nice Chardonnay along with phenomenal halibut. Wrapped up with a nice sauvignon blanc for dessert.
Perfect experience and meal gorgeous view from my table.

Four of us were staying at the hotel and stopped for supper. A rather exotic menu that was rather hard to understand. Three of us had the black and blue (cheese) salad, one had the cheeseburger. The salads were terrific, and filling (they bring you little rolls that are great). The cheeseburger came with fries or a salad. We had a wonderful server: Donna. We went with her recommendations and didn’t go wrong.

We were walk-ins for the Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner, as we had a last minute overnight from the airport. For $300 for a couple, you expect excellent food and pairings - and it was - but the service was sorely lacking. It was at least 10 minutes before we were greeted and given water, after being seated. At first, things moved along fairly well, but we noticed a poor young couple at another table be ignored for well over 15 minutes after being seated. We also heard our waiter arguing with another server behind us, that that couple's table was his, and he said "but I'm busy". He never interacted with us, whether delivering courses or pouring the wines. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review is because the food was that delicious. The duck breast was probably the best we have ever had, and my husband has ordered it all through the US and the Caribbean at French restaurants. The wine pairings were spot on, also.

Lovely surroundings but we had to. wait for our Benedict to be remade, the soup arrived barely warm as did the grilled cheese. The side salad did not have the dressing on the side, as requested. We waited a long time for the bill and eventually went up and gave it to our waitress.
Overall, we were very disappointed on this, our first visit to your restaurant.
The staff was very nice.

This review isn’t for the hotel which is gorgeous & amazing but for the restaurant’s server, I believe his name is Duncan. As a treat for my brother visiting from out of town, I paid for 5 night’s stay. We met today at 3:50pm for a meal, a time apparently when there’s not actual table service, but as we found out, we needed to order from the bar. Not understanding how ordering works during that in between time, we had questions & Duncan was curt & dismissive for every question, including us asking for salt & pepper shakers since we noticed none on the outdoor tables. He rudely said “You don’t see salt & pepper shakers cuz like I said NO table service at this time”. I have been in the customer service industry for 40 years including working as a restaurant server & I found myself getting angrier by the minute by his rudeness. The food was delicious but Duncan made the experience unpleasant enough where I, as a local who lives here will hesitate to return or recommend eating here.
