We ate on a Sunday afternoon after a show downtown. I went with my two (teenage) children. The atmosphere was lovely and service excellent. The menu was fairly simple and uncomplicated, with dishes that highlight the food, not overdone sauces, etc. my daughter had the salmon special and it was the best salmon either of us have ever had. I... More

It was a cold snowy evening, but Mizuna is warm and comfy, and to prevent drafts when folks exit or enter, they have hung a "tapestry" which works very well. Service is relaxed, friendly and professional. We brought a 2007 Oregon Pinot, and we were provided Ridel Burgundy glasses, the great ones with the rim canted outward. Little touches make... More

Reasonably priced, varied menu. Caters to all - vegetarian, vegan, gluten free. Good service. Bridges the gap between family and fine dining. We started with an outstanding smoked trout bruschetta with pesto. Followed by tasty lentil cakes on a parsnip purée with roasted carrots and Brussels sprouts. If not for the tasty crunch on the outside of the cakes, the... More

The food we had was good. Lots of vegetarian options. I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got.

Wanted to try a new place. So we have heard good things about this place and they are right. Loved the place the minute we walked in. We started out with the Gorgonzola dip first that was amazing. We each ordered a different main dish, the organic roasted chicken and the New York Strip. Both were awesome. We each shared... More

We had two main dishes and found both to be just okay. It was disappointing because I was looking forward to being wowed. The price was high so we had high expectations. Even the wine wasn't good which is rare for me.

My best dining experience in Spokane was at Mizuna's! The ambience of the general dining area is fantastic, quiet and relaxing. Service was courteous, attentive and professional, I'd sum it up as exceptional. The food was superior and was delicious and mouthwatering. We started off with the crabcakes. They served with a small accompanying leafy green garnish with light dressing. The... More

I happened upon Mizuna after a long day of travel and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious food and a soothing atmosphere. The Spinach Arancini was very good, as was the Carrot Soup.
