Went here with a Groupon. We were surprised by how great the food was! We had the all you can eat bbq. The food was served to us and cooked at our table. The octopus, chicken and beef were perfectly seasoned and since it was cooked at our table, was perfectly cooked too. The service was quick and friendly. My... More

We went there for lunch - first one waitress went to get a chair for us and never came back. Later we sat elsewhere but not a single waiter came to take our order ! Very strange. We of course - a group of 3 - got up and left. Very unprofessional!

Weekend lunch with 2 others. Only went because hubs had Groupon couoon that was about to expire. Never expect much from Korean restaurants in Puget Sound, because I've been making homemade for 25 years. Really surprised becsuse non of the banchan had msg taste. Donkatsu portion was huge and tasty. Yookgejang had more substance than soup, particularly gosari( very expensive... More

Each time I come here it is generally full of Koreans. And to me, that's a good sign that the food is going to be authentic and yummy. Yesterday I had lunch. I ordered the soft tofu soup and it was delicious. My mom was very satisfied with the mackerel she ordered. Obviously, our meal came with the free appetizers... More

We were trying Palace for the first time. We've been to other Korean restaurants, but this was our first in Tacoma. No curb appeal and inside is not much better. We were greeted by "menu or grill." We couldn't get much clarity on the difference so we just picked "grill." We were then advised it was an "all you can... More

We went there tonight for dinner. After waiting for 10 minutes to be seated we sat at our table for 20 minutes before we even got a menu. 20 minutes after that the waitress came back and we started ordering. Halfway through ordering the waitress just walked away. After she returned 5 minutes later we finished ordering. The food was... More

There are multiple Palace Korean Bar and Grill locations. If you're looking for a nice night out, I would recommend the one in Federal Way. It's a lot nicer inside. The bonus to this one was, while obviously an older building, the servers were much more attentive and helpful than at the Federal Way store. The food was pretty much... More

We tried this place for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised. We opted for the grill meal so there was quite a bit of a wait. While they told us 15 minutes, it was actually closer to an hour. It was DEFINITELY worth the wait! There was a large selection of small dishes of kim chee radishes, anchovies,... More

The greatest thing about Palace Korean Bar & Grill is that they have two sections of dining room: one being regular meal order on the right hand side when you walk in the restaurant with the other side being Korean BBQ section. There's range hood above each of the tables so that the smoke won't really float all over the... More

My first Korean experience was at Cham's. Most know the name when looking for a Korean spot because it's high on all the rating chains ie. yelp, tripadvisor and so forth. My friend took me here, said it was the "best" needless to say it was NOT. Not at all! It was awful! Bad food. Bad service. Tiny place. So... More
