We had a wonderful dinner, great service, and even if it was a bit noisey, we enjoyed the flavors of Argentinian cuisine. This is not an inexpensive place to eat, but It was worth the time. We were not rushed in any way, thogh we had a relaxing time. Look it up for that special dinner!

My husband and I invited our friends to join us for trying out the Argentinian restaurant. We were surprised the foods were really good. My friends said that they have tried most of the steak house in Seattle and non of steaks were tasted as good as in this Asado restaurant.

Great wine, service and food. Party of 7 and the staff kept everything flowing. Shared the food and desserts, which was not an issue

This Argentinian chophouse is outstanding, although pricey. The ceviche may be the best of any restaurant in town. It's worth the wait and the price.

Great choice around Tacoma if you feel adventurous in the steak arena. The presentation on every dish is fabulous and the grill is well managed by the chef. This place has a touch of an Argentinian cuisine, but with a fusion of many countries of Latin America. It is not a real Argentinian Parrillada. We ordered about six dishes, and... More

Went here for a business lunch. We must have been early because there were lots of empty tables. The service was good and the food was too but nothing to write home about. I would go back.

Not a lot of menu changes which I enjoy in places I like to return to but the food is consistently good and they make decent cocktails!

Our Granddaughter gave us a gift card to try this restaurant. Asado sits on 6th Ave in Tacoma Wa. It's not a very big place, but it is a very busy place. We started off with salads. Mine a Butter Wedge Salad and my husband the Caesar Salad. My salad was just okay. The dressing was very bland. My husband... More

Small restaurant with a big menu. Best flat iron steak I've ever had! Cooked to perfection and the steak melted in your mouth. A little pricey, but the food and service are superb

Sizzle and smoke define Asado Cucina Argentina, the South Sound's only Argentine-themed steakhouse and a staple restaurant of the trendy Sixth Avenue dining district. Heady smoke wafts from the display kitchen where chefs sear beef over a mesquite grill. Low lighting is moody by night, bright and beautiful by day because of the expansive garage doors that roll up in the summertime, spilling diners onto Sixth Avenue. A mural evokes pastoral Argentina. Metalwork and heavy doses of deep-hued wood create a rustic urban palette. Social by design, with a large chef's table straddling the display kitchen. Bench booth seating connects diners to neighbors, but without being overly intrusive. The word "asado" means a gathering of friends for a grill party - the Argentine equivalent of an American patio barbecue - and that theme translates into a convivial gathering spot for friends and family. A steakhouse with a flavor-forward menu with preparations licked with smoke and sophistication.
