Really enjoyed the seating with the view. Our server was super speedy and never once rolled her eyes with all of our complicated orders. The clam chowder was awesome and everyone else loved their food. The reason it's getting a 4 instead of a 5 is that an accident help up two in our party and they wouldn't seat us... More

Group of friends had dinner. Food overall was okay and just barely warm, definitely not hot..... Dining areas, bar, bathrooms, and even the lobby areas are dirty. As expensive as this restaurant is, you would think that they could at least clean once in a while......

Had chowder and the Dungeness Crab sandwich. It was served open faced with melted cheese on top. Realty tasty! The service was very good. And the view of the glass museum and the old part of downtown Tacoma is pretty special. I've been using Johnny's Dock seasoning for many years. It's still a treat to go here.

Some friends brought me here for lunch while I was visiting. This is one of those places that you can tell that the locals love and is slightly off the beaten path. I ordered the Dungeness crab and shrimp omelet. This omelet was huge and filled with all kinds of crab meat and shrimp. I would have preferred to have... More

Everything is okay. Food never is very hot, only warm. Happy Hour is your best bet. Staff is friendly. Great views. Been coming here for 40 years, wish they would update it. Same old. Bathrooms are like using an AMPM, Always dirty, smell and creepy. The entire restaurant definately needs a thorough cleaning and updating.

Returned for our annual dinner here. Service was very good once one of the wait persons finally came to our table. The one we should have had never showed. Good food although we feel it isn't what it use to be several years back. Still, we had a great dinner before we went to a musical at the Tacoma Musical... More

I had a client take me here and ever since, I'll take my clients here when in town. Excellent seating, views, service, and fresh fish each day on the lunch menu... Wonderful place that I've never had a bad meal at.

My guy, myself and his sister ate here at Johnny's Dock Restaurant on 9/27/2016 for a late lunch around 4pm. My guy had Alaskan Cod fish chips that came with french fries. His sister and I shared a turkey and avocado wrap that was served with french fries. The Waitress had the cooks put each of our half of the... More

These are real folks! The bar is a ton of fun. Great service. Good prices. The view is worth the drive. Great to study Tacoma from this point of view. And those funky, 80's chairs in the ladies room....makes me miss my Grandma and the days of a true ladies lounge. The whole place is a time capsule. Don't change... More
