Great classic in Tacoma. Don't expect it to be fast, but it is worth the weight. We get their classic burger and the small fries is enough to share (sometimes enough for three of us). wide selection of shakes, they aren't my thing but I know the kids love them.

Love coming here for their crisp hot dogs, and retro charm. A real gem for Tacoma and a classic that will keep us coming back.

This place is great for a good ol' fashioned burger and shake. Classic spot, reminds you of a American Graffiti.

Great burgers, shakes, onion rings with a cool retro vibe! On a warm summer night, Frisko Freeze can't be beat!

From the weathered image of a hamburger on the sign to the hand-written menu in the window Frisko Freeze is a throwback. A Tacoma tradition since World War II, this "burger joint" (meant in the best way possible) serves thousands of folks a day...at one walk up and one drive up window. Do you like onions on your burger? You're... More

I have been visiting here for years. It has been a long while since my last visit, however, and I was surprised that fries cost as much as a burger and that a teeny little container of tartar sauce was 46 cents! That said, the workers are always pleasant and the burgers and fries are always good. Be prepared to... More

Everyone who's anyone who went to any High School in Tacoma has wonderful memories from Frisco Freeze. I even had an Interior Design client in Seattle who would load up a Denali full of people and take us all for one of the best burgers you'll ever eat. They haven't changed a thing in all these years. It's still a... More

Frisco Freeze has the best burgers and shakes in town. It is a classic burger stand from days gone by. Located in North Tacoma it is close to parks and the waterfront so you can grab some food and go watch a little nature. Loved the place in the 80s and still love it today.

Their burgers are amazing. They're perfectly moist, have a delicious sauce, and good fries. My new favorite burger place. I wish they had more locations! I don't recommend getting the prawn basket. The prawns were good, I just prefer the burger. Always get a cone or shake.
