I was staying in Eyeries and let’s be honest it’s tiny and options are limited and I tried them all. Causkeys is a small place with great views a pool table and a pretty tiny traditional bar. None of your fancy stuff here. Limited choices...of beer (don’t be expecting rows of craft beers and fancy pants gins.) It’s Jameson or Powers whisky Murphy’s or Guinness Bulmers Heineken etc etc.. and of course Jaegermeister (why is there always Jaegermeister and who drinks it anyway). Anyway you get the picture. A genuine local. The don’t make them like that anymore and Eyeries has two.More

Stopped here for a pint after a few hours of fishing at nearby Glenbeg Lough. The owner was very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the pub. A typical village pub with plenty of locals in attendance. Didn't get to see the view...from out the back of the pub, which is a big attraction, Next Time Definately!More

A great night out to be had here with stunning panorama. A wonderful beer garden, and great drinks sevice! Lovely staff - not much more you could ask for in this truly hospitable bar. Careful though! TripAdvisor seems to think they do food, and we...almost got caught out there!More

My Brother-in-Law and I spent a really lovely week in Eyeries, West Cork from the 9th to the 16th of June, 2018. There are 2 Bars in Eyeries, Causkeys and O'Sheas both providing lovely friendly service. Causkeys has a view from the window at the...back of the bar which is the most beautiful scene you could imagine, you would be amazed at the number of photographers coming in to the bar having a drink and heading out the back to take a photo. There are plenty of friendly people around who are only to happy to answer questions about the area. O'shea's is a nice bar with friendly service and the oul sing song from time to time. If you fancy a nice cup of tea from bone china cups and a really fantastic sandwich then Evies is the place almost opposite O'Shea's, a really lovely woman she told us how the shop keepers have their area to clean up on the road and it is a credit to them. If you want a more substantial meal and need some free Wifi the Cindy's is the place, you can get a hot meal there or a fine breakfast, she also does Soft Ice Cream Cones, opposite to the Cafe there is a small park where children can go to enjoy themselves and you can keep an eye on them while have a nice coffee or tea, if by chance you have a camper van and are looking for somewhere to park for the night or longer then Cindy can organize that too. She is a lovely person with an infectious laugh and smile. EyEries also has a public toilets which are well maintained and a Post Office/ shop there is also a shop just down the road from Evies. O'Neills of The Cross in Eyeries is a first class B&B. I would highly recommend Eyeries as a MUST SEE place and the surrounding areas are just full of wild beauty.More

We had been driving the Beara Peninsula and came to Eyeries. A wonderful gem on the Beara! Stopped at Causkey's and walked into a lovely Irish pub that had a huge window facing the north side of the Beara Peninsula and Coolagh Bay. Mesmerizing! Met...a gentleman who moved over to Ireland in 1989 and was a wealth of knowledge about the area. Nice owner and friendly locals. A great find for us, and others too.More

At the back of this old bar there is a floor to ceiling plate glass window affording wonderful sea views. Go there for this alone, never mind the 'black stuff' :)

Good Drink great company and stupendous views. It is simply a pub in the old fashioned way. There are a couple of places to eat in the village but if you are looking for serious food you have to drive into Castletownbere.
