I love Mezzaluna. Have eaten here countless times. They always give you too much, but that's not a bad thing. Especially if you like Italian. The Garlic Knots are very tasty and the salad is simple, with plain olive oil and vinegar. You gotta use the bread to soak up the juice at the bottom of the salad bowl. Staff... More

Don't let the outside strip mall fool you. This restaurant is excellent. The garlic knots and the salad are great! I love their Basgiola (I know I spelled it wrong) but it's one of their specials!

This was our first time having a meal at Mezzaluna. Our meals came with a salad that we thought was large and was very good. We also had a antipasto that was good. Our entrees were both large an fine. I found the sauce to be sweet. Desert and coffee were also good. Worth trying. Enjoy!

The food was perfect and the server was the best I have had in AGES. She did not refer to my friend and myself as "guys". We were referred to as ladies and I will admit that this is a pet peeve of mine. Her timing was exactly what it needed to be and her demeanor was friendly and professional.... More

The garlic knots are great. The service was good. The food was just alright, prepared in kind of a heavy-handed, red-sauce fashion. That's more or less what I was expecting, however, so I wasn't disappointed.

Small in-town restaurant. Ethnic menu. Very good food. We were there for lunch. Not many diners, only waitress was non-attentive.

For years this little cafe has been offering authentic Italian food to the Charles Town area. A favorite of locals, Mezzaluna offers a variety of appetizers and entrees. Their calamari is particularly delightful, lightly fried to perfection. Dine in for a quaint and relaxed experience, or order carry out and bring a taste of Italy home for the family.

The service is good, the food wasn't that great. I had a Spinach fettuccine and really I would say that is was OK. the men's restroom had much work to be done.

Unfortunately, we won't be back anytime too soon. We've always enjoyed eating at La Mezzaluna and their garlic knots were always the best! We've always looked forward to a warm basket of rolls/knots when we eat there! On the evening, 6/30/2016, my wife and I went for a date, we entered to find the restaurant quite warm. As it turned...
