A group of 3 went for lunch and shared our various dishes. I was really impressed with the variety and flavors of the food.

Visited the bluegrass with a colleague and enjoyed a very different meal after a week of rather bland food. The Bluegrass didn't have a lot of atmosphere, it's not very cosy, with high ceilings and rather bright lighting but the food and service were great, with good beers and interesting wines.

I love this place. My picky 5 year likes it too. Love the variety on the menu and quality of food. Service can be so-so, but the vibe of the dining room and tastiness of the food more than make up for it. My favorite place in charleston. No where else like it in the area. Veggie burger is my... This restaurant advertises itself as farm to table, so we decided to give it a try. My husband ordered what turned out to be an enormous pork chop and I had a Mxican-style layered Tostada with cheese, cheese and vegetables. It was filling and tasty enough. The wine was inexpensive -- Argentine and California -- most blends. The best part... More

Unique little spot serving food with a bar out of an old home, with antique feel in the decor and a yuppie vibe. I had delicious food with their large basket order of fries, and their phenomenal spanish-style crab cakes (with chorizo and peppers!). They gave me the crabcake for free since they only had 1 left when normal order... More

A local brought us to this fine little restaurant and bar for lunch initially. I couldn't wait to go back on my next visit to Charleston. The place has great ambiance, great service and quality food. Vegetarian choices, great salads. I will make it a point to visit every chance I get.

Just a few blocks (walking) from West Virginia's Capitol in an old and worn 2 story brick building is, when first coming in through the entry, what appears to be another bar/restaurant. Once past the entry and bar into the main dining area with an abundance of eclectic chairs, table and couches is a world of relaxation and ease. One... More

The food was so bad I did not eat it and watched my partner eat hers. I had my dinner back at the hotel that night - not great but a least it was edible.

Charleston's authentic farm-to-table made-from-scratch modern comfort food restaurant. With a legion of chefs who caringly practice the art of food, BgK offers delicious brunch, dinner, and desserts for hungry vegetarians, meat connoisseurs, and everyone in-between. In the circa 1920 building with pressed tin ceilings and exposed architecture, Bluegrass also serves as a gallery for local artists. In the Tap room there's live original acoustic music most nights, with finely crafted cocktails, a curated wine list & a bounty of beers. Close to West Virginia's beautiful capitol grounds the family-owned and operated Bluegrass Kitchen has been featured in The New York Times and Wall Street Journal as well as Bon Appetit, Garden & Gun, Taste of the South magazines and many more.
