The owner really took care of a group of KCS teachers. They provided a sampling of heir best pizzas. Everyone really loved the seasoning on some of the pizzas. Would definitely go again!

This restaurant is located next to the Budget Host Inn and it was so nice to walk next door for a nice meal and drinks after a long day of driving. The staff were friendly and the pizza was good! The menu offered other items as well.

The restaurant itself isn't much to look at. We found it by accident three years ago on our way through to Virginia. Don't let the looks keep you from stopping! We make it a point to go there now. BEST pizza and tomato pie EVER!!! And I don't know what it is about their coolers, but the beer is at... More

I've been eating Anchor pizza since I was a boy and it has stayed true for many years. The pizza has always been very good. The boneless wings are also the best I've had in town. I also enjoy the Squeak sandwiches, nothing else like them in town. It's a great little old school restaurant on the outskirts of town... More

We noticed a few stray cats hanging around outside this restaurant when we parked. The inside of this place smelled like cat urine very strongly. My husband had an allergy to cat fur/pet dander and his eyes started to water while we were eating! The food was not great. The service was very slow even though it wasn't very busy.... More

This place scared me. I can't say the food was horrible but there was food crumbs all over the the table and the waitress saw me wiping it off. The heat was broken while we there so we dined in winter coats. There are so many Nick Nacks collecting dust everywhere you feel like your in a hoarders house. The... More

This was my third visit to Riverside Anchor over the years and this visit was planned around a trip home from a Florida vacation. And I do mean planned visit. The tomato pie here is so good I planned being in Charleston for the last night on the road just to eat here. I enjoy pizza and my friends know... More

I went there for a take out sandwich and felt right at home. Friendly staff, good service, great prices and the sandwich was huge and delicious!

We travel through Charleston a couple times a year, and this was our first visit here. Once we found the place, we enjoyed a nice meal. I recommend it. THE PLACE - Located off I-64, next to a Budget Hotel. It has an old nautical theme - I guess you could call it whimsical. They had booth seating, which we... More

After stopping in Charleston on our way back from Myrtle Beach, we wanted to just get some pizza and relax at the hotel. We hopped on the Riverside Anchor website after finding it thru Trip Advisor. The website showed an 11.95 any size any topping special but you had to order through the website. The online ordering would not work... More
