Great barbeque in a great setting. All kinds of dishes and options. Tons of different sauces to choose from, but their "Carolina" style sauce is South Carolina mustard-based, not North Carolina (Eastern NC vinegar-based) style.

Pretty scenery, plenty of parking, but the food was very average. Meat was extremely dry and tough. We had the brisket and the pulled pork and both tasted like they'd been cooked the day before and then reheated. Cheese curds were great, saved the meal....Service was not exceptionally friendly either.More
Loved this place. Had the ribs, wings, slaw, pulled pork, and beans. The wings come with blue cheese dressing and ranch. The beans are a mixture of different types of beans in barbecue sauce. The waitress brings a small wood tool box of different sauces...to each table. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The place looks clean and is in a great room type log cabin building with country decor. There is plenty of parking and is located next to a beautiful stream.More
Delicious ribs & pulled pork - we eat a lot of bbq and these might have been the best ribs we’ve ever tasted. Staff did a great job enforcing social distancing & creating a safe environment for enjoying dinner. Highly recommended!!
The Cheese Curds are delicious! I had the Brisket platter and it was great! Plenty of delicious food and the staff was great. We will stop by here again for sure. The homemade sauces are amazing! Don’t miss this place.
This was a really nice restaurant at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Plenty of free parking. The restaurant was handicapped accessible over a very nice ramp. Both indoor and outdoor seating although outdoor seating had chairs too narrow for large frame. The...atmosphere was rustic but extremely clean. The air conditioner was way too cold and made eating uncomfortable at times. The food itself was good but not great. We started out with a grilled shrimp appetizer. It was excellent but pretty expensive. The menu had typicsl barbeque food. I had the ribs and wings sampler. Portions were a little small but the food was good. Nice bar with a good beer selection. We'll be back the next time that we are in the area.More
This is arguably one of the best restaurants in the Elkins area. The food was good and our group had the brisket, smoked shrimp (which comes on a fajita, but you can order it separate too!), trout spread, ribs, and especially the wings. As far...as smoked BBQ is concerned, it was done well! The local beers available on draught were excellent - from Elkin’s own Big Timber. The reason I only gave it 3 out of five stars is twofold: 1. The staff was not especially friendly. We waited a while to be greeted when we walked through the door and the restaurant was not busy. Our waitress was polite but not especially helpful when we had questions about the menu. The food runner who dropped off our food was asked if we could get another beer and abruptly told us that was not her job and we should ask our waitress, who we couldn’t find at the time. 2. The portions were small for the price point on the menu. For example, the trout spread was approximately a 1/2 cup of spread - when all the photos I have been seeing on yelp looked like it was a shareable appetizer. We all felt like the meat portions were stingy. (People who eat BBQ want to EAT and when your food comes to the table and you think, “aw man, that’s it?” it’s a bummer.) Would I eat here again? Maybe. But I’d probably see what my other restaurant options were first.More
The ribs were amazing. Fall off the bone tender and didn't nee a drop of sauce. The rub on them made the meat flavorful and the slow smoked process sang through. Our server, Laria, was delightful. Great recommendations and she was so sweet to our...golden who joined us on the deck while we ate. Worth the trip.More
First time eating here. Limited menu due to COVID-19. The burnt ends as an appetizer is enough for a meal. Pork sandwich was excellent! Waitress and service was great. Drink selection was very good too. Highly recommend
My wife and I love eating here. The food was great (as usual). We hardly EVER get desert but when the waitress offered peanut butter pie I couldn't resist. Let me just say that it was one of the MOST AMAZING sweets I've ever had...the pleasure of devouring! Love listening to the live music. Beautiful restaurant!More
