This place has a nice appearance and seemed to be frequented by a few locals for the happy hour specials.. But, there were not that many people there at all and the service was extremely slow. The food wasn't good either. I ordered a salad...based on ingredients listed in the menu. When it came it didn't match the description in the menu. My friend said his burger tasted like it was made with old meat. He was unable to eat it. I don't recommend this place unfortunately.More

We spent the weekend in Elkin's for a train ride and had no idea where to go. Luckily someone recommended Beanders and we were glad. It had a great atmosphere, a nice selection of food and our waiter, Megan, was one of the best we...ever had. She made us feel so welcome and after a while was almost like a long last friend. She needs to open a training school for table servers!!More

Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before even being asked what i wanted and then had to wait another 15 minutes before getting her attention so I could have a menu. After being recomended some food by a "Manager" who was sitting next to...me drinking, I took her advice and ordered the buffalo quesadilla. It was mediocre at best and this is what they were bragging about. Slow, impersonal service and blah food. I would not recomend.More

Very good food! Parking on the street can be difficult sometimes but once you try Beanders you will be back! The wings and brew city fries are a good go to meal! The sandwiches are large and delicious! Even the chicken parmigiana pasta is yummy,...which you would not expect at a Bar! Great vibe, laid back atmosphere!More

I ordered chips and cheese....i couldnt belive whan the server brought out (about 15 minutes after i ordered) a basket of chips and cheese in little plastic salad dressing containers. The cheese was horrible....the salsa was so so. My friends wings were ok....girlfriends shrimp were...surprisingly good and my beer was nice and cold....my burger, served on texas toast was terrible....i mean awful. Imagine a slider size piece of mean served on texas toast....and on top of that the flavor was bland....extra ketchup please. The server was very nice...but not good....took for ever for anything to come out....asked for more drinks....10 minutes later they come out....plus she didnt check on us....we even had to ask another server to get her so we could get the check. I blame management....train your people a little....and get a salt shaker for the kitchen.More

This restaurant is across the street from C.J. Maggie’s and the food is really good! This is a relaxed atmosphere bar and grill and should not be missed on your next trip to Elkins!

My wife and I ate here on the recommendation of another person. I ordered chicken wings extra, extra, extra crispy, I like the skin crispy, and told the server that, and if they weren't crispy I would send them back. So twice I sent them...back, when the third batch came out I just boxed them up and took them home with us, and cooked them there. The place was clean, our server was "OK" my wife had a cheeseburger which wasn't the best, but she ordered chips with her sandwich and they were good. The places to eat in Elkins are limited, this just happens to be one that I will not be coming back to.More
