About
First and foremost, our family loves the town of Lewisburg; it's shops, people and rich history. Our family has been visiting Lewisburg since 2003 when we purchased Westwinds, a horse farm in western Virginia near Lake Moomaw. While we've enjoyed the several restaurants in town, we also felt the locals as well as tourists would welcome and support more restaurant options, and so far we've been right! Our family's first restaurant, Stella's, has been a hit since we opened in January, 2011. Stella's, named and inspired after our mom Alice Stella Hirt who passed away in 1985, is warm, welcoming and elegant, just like our mom was. Stella's has many feminine touches which were influenced by our mom

The entrance is on the left side of the building ~~ just look for the USMC flag 😁 The prices are a bit on the high side for the portion but WOW delicious food. Kind of classy dinning with a small bar side. We had...More

We had an absolutely delicious meal. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet the night before Thanksgiving and we were seated in our favorite spot. Very private and comfortable. I found the appetizer's especially intriguing and ordered three rather than an entrée. I had lovely fried oysters,...More

We ate there on a Friday evening, so they had a guitarist/singer in their bar area. This was a pleasant add-on to our meal. The meal itself was excellent and the menu choices all looked great -- it was hard to decide what to choose!...More

Had dinner on a Saturday evening. Once we found the front door ( it was dark, there was essentially no lighting), the ambiance on the inside is warm and inviting. Our server was pleasant and accommodating. We had the lamb, burgers, pasta and the shrimp...More

The food is very good, but expect to pay a lot for your food! Had the lobster apptizer - very good, very small. Another person at my table had the surf and turf appitizer - much better size.

We stopped here during a stay at the Greenbrier. Short drive to Lewisburg. Well appointed inside with an outdoor patio. Nice small town for a stroll. Had a nice cheese plate upfront. It had a tasty selection. Nice booth that was quite and made for...More
