Food was very good. This place will surprise you. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice, the prices are very reasonable, and the scenery is very beautiful.

Stop in late October for a snack and a beer. They don't do beer. The setting is spectacular - our patio table overlooked the Greenbrier River! Mallards and obnoxious ducks were quite busy just below us - was fun to marvel. I had the Fish Sandwich - without the bread. It was quite tasty! Service was sadly quite slow and... More

We decided to check out the grille for dinner one evening. We decided to set outside to eat because of the view and the fact the there were no clean tables inside. There were also no clean tables outside. We waited for over 10 minutes for someone to come along and finally clean the table and take our order. This... More

My husband and I travel the Scenic Highway every year the second or third weekend in October. We normally pack us a picnic lunch and eat along the highway. But this year we decided to do something different. We wanted to give this place a try. And TRULY REGRET DOING SO!!!! We arrived around 1:45 p.m. When we entered we... More

We came into town for the Autumn Harvest and Road Kill Festival, and settled on this place for dinner the night before the festival. It has a scenic overlook of a river with ducks. This place had a laid back atmosphere. Service was a bit on the slow side. The majority of the food was a four rating, however the... More

We had visited several years back. Unless you like feeding ducks with corn at 50 cents a bag, it no longer seems the same. Food was awful & expensive. We selected hamburger steak & pan seared trout and the salad bar. The salad bar inside offered very little except lettuce and cut up green peppers. The hamburger steak with gravy... More

I have dined here several times - both breakfast and dinner - usually Saturday night or Sunday morning. I would rate the food as good comfort food. Nice view of the river, but it seems that every time at dinner the service is way too slow, and since they don't serve alcohol, you can't sip on a beer while you... More

I ate dinner here after a 60 mile ride on the GR Trail. I was very hungry. Even though they weren't all that busy (probably 30% full on a Saturday night around 6 PM), it took a long time to get anyone's attention, then to order, though the food came pretty quickly. Food quality was good. Some of the wait... More
