Located on High St. makes this eatery a convenient place to drop in for wings and a beer. Good selection on menu, friendly workers and a place with lots of people coming and going.

Downtown location......The burgers were fine and the calamari good, but it was the worst crab cake sandwich I've ever had. Mushy texture.....almost like it was tuna salad. Bland. Never liked the atmosphere.....carpet in restaurants always seems gross to me and it's so cramped in there. Tables close together and Booths cannot fit 4 adults comfortably. Won't be back. Hope the... More

Some of the Boston Beanery's have changed hands. If you liked the old Beanery, as I did, you need to go to the downtown restaurant. The Beanery at Evansdale campus on Patteson Drive is now known as the Beanery American Grill. The menu is very similar to the old...it's just that the food is no way near as good. Some... More

We popped in here after eating at the Jameson's Pub. Lovely little bar and good service they did not have Baileys but had something else which was really nice. Enjoyed sitting at the bar and good atmosphere. They do large Beers which my husband loved.

Great drink specials, especially happy hour. The French Onion soup is amazing. So it the fish and chips. Best honey mustard in town (although, don't ask what's in it!). Decent service, decent atmosphere, usually loaded with college-age folks. Bring a group of friends for trivia night, enjoy the drink specials, and have fun!

The Boston Beanery is a great place to eat with friends and with family. The restaurant is small, but it is very warm and has a great atmosphere. We ate a variety of items including the Beanery Cheesesteak and the Whaler Fish Sandwich. The sandwiches were great and were very filling. The highlight of the evening were the buffalo chicken... I have mixed feeling about the Boston Beanery now. There is big difference in the food and service, depending on which location you choose. The downtown and Evansdale locations are always great, even when busy. Which brings me to the Pines Country Club location. We used to eat there almost once a week until the last year, now we've eaten... More

We have eaten at the Boston Beanery several times when it was at Tygart Lake State Park, but this was the first time at The Pines. It was during the week, so it wasn't too crowded. Our table overlooked part of the golf course, and as the sun set, we were able to watch a few deer passing by. Nice,... More

Great menu selection, amazing fries (ok for a once-in-awhile guilty pleasure), quick turn around time for the lunch crowd. Very busy, depending on what time you go. Also have a great dinner menu and drink selection!
