I had the stuffed trout special - delicious. With Amish cole slaw which was really good. Service was a little slow, but I'd come back here again

Just in town overnight looking for a decent dinner, JP Henry's delivered. It is definitely a sports bar with TV's at all the booths. But the decor and atmosphere made for a pleasant dining experience. The steaks were good quality beef and cooked as ordered. They were out of the prime rib special but the server gave me a Ribeye... After a long day of travel we stopped in Parkersburg for the night. J.P.Henry's was recommended for our dinner. We had their specials of the night, prime rib for my husband, and triple bbq for me. This was bbq shrimp, boneless chicken breast, and ribs. The best ribs I have ever eaten!! Sides of onion rings and Amish style Cole... More

First time I've eaten there in more than a decade. It's always had a nice atmosphere, for a sports bar. Had a chicken club sandwich for lunch, part of a meeting. The sandwich was very good. I thought it was a little pricey. $10 just for a Sandwich with a side of cole slaw and a pickle spear. The cole... More

We were there in December as part of a work Christmas party. The food was pretty good. The atmosphere was very cozy, and inviting.

This is the kind of place you hope to find when you arrive after a long day of driving and work in a town you've never been to. This is an excellent local pub. The margaritas were good. The burgers excellent. No prefab stuff here. The meat tasted real and had been sculpted together with care. I was on my... More

Very friendly place to eat, grab a beer, or just to watch a ballgame! Very impressed by their draft beer selection and a lot of nice TV's!

This place is great to watch a WVU game or any sports game. The bar area is extremely large and always hopping. The restaurant area wasn't as crowded and that's most likely because of the food, don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. So if you're looking for a place with really good food, you... More

JP Henry's has a great ambience on first entering the restaurant. The wood, decor, and wall-gear all give a great bar vibe. The food is overall, ... generally very average with somewhat bland flavors and the feel of frozen entrees. (Not bad, just very uninspired). Service was awesome and our waitress did her best to make the experience enjoyable with... More

We couldn't believe how many televisions they had going in this place! Multiple channels, but often repeated. We even had our own TV at our table--though we could not begin to hear it, even if we had wanted to. The sound in this place was loud enough that we had trouble carrying on a conversation--and it was tuned in to... More
