My mother and I took my eight yr old to The Dells for Spring Break. Knowing that we'd want to get out of the Lodge at least one night, I made a reservation for Little Village Cafe based off reviews I read at this website. I highly recommend making a reservation because seating is limited and it is BUSY. When... More

My server was so nice and fun. Made my solo dinner even more enjoyable. Catfish burrito was so good and so huge that I brought 2/3 of it home for lunch tomorrow. Oh and then there's dessert. OMG. Love this place

After surviving the drive through Wisconsin Dells, this charming and unpretentious place was truly a haven for lunch on the road. My pasta with ground sirloin sauce was excellent, rich and satisfying, best Bolognese I've tasted in a long while. My wife similarly impressed with her local fish and fresh green vegetables, and she's not easily pleased! We took 2... More

I came from the Dells to have lunch here. This is a welcome change from dining in the Dells. The soups were delicious and the salads were various types of greens. The service was attentive and helpful. The ambiance was half of the fun. This funky diner is a setting straight from the 1950's. I saw people who came in... More

When we went in to ask if we needed a reservation, the Hostess/waitress was nearly rude. In years past, perhaps with a different owner, reservations were needed! It didn't seem like a foolish question, except to the hostess. When we returned at our reservation time, there certainly wasn't a crowd. It was a Sunday early evening, and they were out... More

Hi, Just a little note to apologize for your experience. We have a new hostess. she is very sweet, but new to serving the public. We obviously try to provide the best service all the time. We close at 3pm on Sundays, and sometimes (especially during the winter) we will run out of an item. That is no excuse for... More

Wonderful, cozy little restaurant in downtown Baraboo. Went there for the first time and ordered the take-out Moroccan chicken (comes with rice, bread, and greens). What I did not know, was that there was a berry sauce on the chicken, which was subtle, and executed tastefully. Props to the chef for combining the flavors so well.

Crowded but staff very friendly and accommodating. We have been there 3 times. Each time have had an excellent meal. Menu is varied...not the typical Wisconsin burger and cheese curds type of place. The vegetarian pea soup is a must to have if on the special board when you visit. A gem of a place in downtown Baraboo!

When passing through, we prefer to stop at a "local" place verses a chain restaurant. So using TripAdvisor, we decided to stop here. We arrived shortly after 1 and they closed at 3 that day. Ordered: two kids' pasta, soup of the day (vegetarian split pea) and a garden salad. The soup was very good. It was thick and having... More

What an absolute delight. I am always in search of a good beer cheese soup. I have found the best beer cheese soup anywhere at this little café. I had the curried chicken salad. What a taste delight. Lots of Curried chicken, lots of vegetables and perfect combination of salad. The curried chicken was just perfect. The service was excellent.
