That's what I thought when I saw the duck bacon appetizer on the menu. They were like little hot pockets, and they were delicious! The restaurant was folksy-fun. The food was quite good. I had the grilled chicken salad; the chicken was perfect! The waitstaff...More

The service is terrible, food is poor. Ordered 2 appetizers took over 30 minutes, plus the Rueben sliders are supposed to be corn beef, instead, got hotdogs sliced in half with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. YUK. Noticed the owner just standing around not helping...More

Hello Criss S. I believe you didn't like the Rueben Sliders because our Wisconsin Sliders were delivered to you instead. The Wisconsin Sliders are as popular as the Rueben Sliders but are made with a Johnsonville Cheddar Brat instead of our house cooked corned beef....More

The Barn is in a great location, just outside of Devil's Lake State Park. The service was decent, the bartender was friendly. Food was average at best. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

First of all we had high expectations of eating at the Farm Kitchen but it was closed so we went to the Barn which was a big mistake because there was a baby shower taking place in the one and only small dining room. People...More

I'm sorry to hear you did not like the Virgin Bloody Mary. The mix is one we mix ourselves and we literally made the mix that morning. We served 66 Bloody Marys on Sunday. And more than half of the guests on Sunday had more...More

Don't be alarmed if it is slow service. That can be normal, especially down season. The staff remains friendly even though they have a lot to do with short amount of people. However if the food is always good and the atmosphere is very unique...More

We had a variety of entrees..fish, steak, sandwiches etc.. Everything was very good, drinks were fine, said bar was average. The entertainer (guitar - singer) was enjoyable, not overpowering. The desserts are wonderful. The atmosphere is a pleasant, " rustic barn" .. as one would...More

Hello! As always, Thank You for your feedback! I'm sorry to see a 1 star rating. Obviously you were expecting a different type of Bloody Mary. All Good Truly. I will say the list that we are on has definitely increased the Bloody Mary traffic....More

Food was pretty good but need more waitstaff. One waitress for full dining area. Definitely enough food for money. Bloody Mary bar was overrated. For $8 there was nothing special. May return for food but not for drinks.
