The food was good- but quite pricey. The service was good but not great. The restaurant is nice, but the tables are way to close to each other.

We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated in the restaurant so we went to the bar. Nick was working and we had so much fun, we almost hated to leave for our open table. Nick makes a mean Old Fashioned. Dinner was also excellent. Service by Jennifer was excellent. She did everything right. We had a ball that... More

This restaurant is very nice with good service, but it is not a traditional German restaurant with authentic German fare. Having lived in Germany, you much better off hitting a couple of MILWAUKEE German restaurants if you are looking for true German cuisine.

Quick summary: wide menu with German specialties. Friendly, professional service. Moderate prices. The main dining room can get loud. On-site parking. We needed dinner, and had been b=meaning to check out this place. I had the excellent sauerbraten with spaetzli and red cabbage (there are other choices.) My friend had a very good fish fry, made with cod. The menu... More

We had tried to get to this restaurant a few years ago, but could not get a reservation. This time, we made reservations well in advance. The waitress we had was excellent, and her recommendations were Spot On! The food was very well prepared, and if you like Horse Radish, they have the best I have tasted in a long... More

Traditional German fare. Large menu and generous portions. Servers dressed like Inga in Young Frankenstein (some cleavage shown by the less matronly ones). Nice touch with small relishes and rolls served upon seating. One of us ordered beef rouladen which was well-prepared, tasty and enjoyable. The other entree was schnitzel of veal cutlet that was disappointing. While a large piece... More

We love going here, the food is always excellent and the waitstaff and atmosphere are perfect for a relaxing meal. They serve a relish tray with rolls and garlic toast before your meal and their portions are very generous. Their coffee and deserts are also a must have. We take all of our friends and family here when they come... More

We go there occasionally because my wife likes their prime rib. They bring her 2 containers, 1 with sour cream and the other with horseradish so she can mix them and make the flavor she likes. She thinks their prime rib is as good as the Corner House. I tried the Oscar Schnitzel for the first time. It was served... More
