Guess it's the case when the number of diners in your party goes up, the level of service goes down. And, sometimes the food quality can suffer as well. We were a party of eight, celebrating mutual birthdays and we were shown to a delightful...More

My husband and I were seated in the front room with a fireplace. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We started off with a glass of wine, the bruschetta board and burrata. Small portions, but tasty. The napa ragu was wonderful, and highly recommended. We...More

We enjoy this restaurant and Winery so much we don't mind driving an hour from Green Bay to get there. We belong to the wine club and enjoy taking friends to the restaurant for their first visit. If you are in the Kohler/Sheboygan area, this...More

Soup was bland, the cheesecake for dessert was dry and the waiter was slow. We have been here many times before, and always get a table in the front room. Not sure what it takes to get a table by the fireplace.

EmAnn, I was just curious where you sat when you were at The Blind Horse? My wife and I were there with another couple and had just a fantastic time. Granted it is tight seating but what do you expect on Valentine's Day in a old rustic farm house, turned restaurant, stuck out in the woods? I'm not sure the place can even sit 60 but I think there had to have been at least twice that for dinner. The food was, and always has been for us, just like it has always been, very good. Unpalatable is pretty strong wouldn't you say? Not sure I would stack this place side by side to McDonalds, just saying. I almost question your desert comment... yes, I'm sure they probably were premade but I saw table after table finishing every plate. Besides it was in little crispy pastry shells. Unless something was spilled on your desert I'm not sure how it could have been soggy. Just wanted to give some balance to the night. Interested why you didn't review this place after the first time you went and "loved it"?
