At at NOLA while we stayed at Audubon Inn. What a surprise! You usually don't find food like this unless you travel to the "big city". Husband had salmon and I had, of all things, meatloaf. We loved every bite. Our meal included three courses and each one was perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!

My Wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the inviting warmth of the dining room. My wife had the crawfish and I had the Beef tenderloin both of which were cooked to perfection. The drinks were also excellent. I do not usually go for high end cuisine, however I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the... More

We had two different first course options. Mine was the most subtle, yet amazing, shrimp on a baguette slice, with a tiny after-bite of pepper. His was an iceberg lettuce wedge, with lovely bacon, gorgonzola, and tomatoes, adding to the peppercorn dressing; (Yum!) Both of us had a perfectly prepared, very tasty, filet, with perfectly prepared asparagus spears, and lightly... More

What a pleasant surprise to find what may be the restaurant with the most gourmet food in miles. We came for a delicious Sunday brunch. Because we were staying at the Audubon Inn next door we ate there a couple more times. The staff was delightful and the food was memorable.

We stopped in on a whim, and were quite pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. The drinks were well made. I opted for the special oyster po'boy, and it was delicious. My husband went for the ribs. Well presented, stacked instead of slab, and the best he'd had. We did share a grasshopper torte dessert, and it was almost... More

We stayed in the Audubon Inn and so, per usual, we try to eat in the hotel's restaurant (don't like to tramp up and down the street trying to find the 'perfect' place). This place was good. Friendly staff, wine list was complete, appetizers and dinner were top notch. We ate here two nights and found it to be perfect... More

Spent the night at the Audubon and stopped in on a Wednesday night. Not very busy, and my waitress appeared new and a little nervous. Got a table near the front window where I could watch whatever sunset the cloudy night had to offer. Liked more than the food. The chef came around to talk and I overheard him saying... More

We arrived just as the restaurant was opening for the evening and were seated right in the window, which gave us a very pleasant view of the town and the storm clouds passing by. My husband and I both started off with a Hurricane as a cocktail. This was very good. Then, instead of bread, the waitress brought out some... More

As I said before, I am a chef, had my own restaurant for 8 years. I closed my very successful restaurant because I wanted to move in another direction. Now I am building a food truck. This is the reason for my second trip to Mayville, Wis. I stay at the Audubon Inn because I like it. Now, NOLA North.... More

They try really hard here! My partner ordered two cocktails which didn't turn out the way she wanted; replaced quickly (wound up with a beer). Service was very friendly and very fast. I wasn't so crazy about my angry tuna sandwich--high quality ingredients, and I like sushi, but somethings about an enormous hunk of blackened but raw inside tuna on... More
