Wonderful atmosphere, arrived 5:30, barely made the 8pm show so the service was a bit slow. Chris was great, very personable. Cheese starter was off the hook. Loved the beef ravioli with pork belly. The porgy was a bit sketchy. Pistachio mousse was very good....More

Service incredibly poor. My food was cold. I sent it back. After a long wait it came back still cold and tough and chewy. The Bartolatta restaurants are by far the most over rated restaurants in Milwaukee. Their team wait staff system needs Erin works....More

My large group had dinner here on a Friday night. Service was wonderful and our primary server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in all the dishes. Several of us had the specials. The trout entree was outstanding. The squash soup had a velvety texture...More

This was our first time at the Bistro. The staff was attentive and we were seated before the time of our reservation. The table held a hand-written card wishing us a Happy Anniversary and our server (Sarah) was attentive, had a sense of humor (as...More

This is a quiet gem. Service is attentive and consistent. Atmosphere is upscale casual if that makes any sense. Decor is very nice, but you can walk-in in nice shorts and be welcomed. Views are amazing. Great for couple and family special occasions or just...More

Consistently among Milwaukee’s best and deservedly so. Great service and food. Generous portions. Great wine list too. Acoustics in back rooms are a little rough and the prices are a little high but it’s always great.

Description
Serving authentic, rustic French cuisine in a bustling bistro setting, the restaurant features a menu that ranges from traditional to more modern and a chef's menu that changes with the seasons. The view of Lake Michigan from the two lake rooms in the Bistro is unrivaled by any other restaurant in the city. Plenty of free parking and a gorgeous park setting make Lake Park Bistro an appealing choice for any dining occasion. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, with guests able to choose from an a la carte menu or from the Menu d'Affaire, which offers a 2-course lunch for $19 and a 3-course lunch for $22. Sunday brunch is among the best in the Midwest, featuring three courses with champagne or a mimosa. Dinner is served nightly, and special events like wine dinners and the annual Black Truffle Dinner are highlights for guests and staff alike.
