Reviews online were better than in person. We paid $14 for a very small sandwich. The soup was more on the salty side and was missing the cabbage

I drove all the way from M. Falls to be disappointed. That's not the corn beef sandwich I use to eat. $13.00 for a super small sandwich. Bread is smaller quantity of corn beef smaller wasn't good at all. By sharing your experiences, you're helping travelers make better choices and plan their dream trips. Thank you

This is a small sandwich shop with all the basic furniture not much furnishing. Corned beef sandwich($13) has more fatty cut of the beef but you can ask for leaner cut with extra charge. During lunch hour it's always packed. So be patient if you go during lunch hour. I always order pastrami sandwich($16) because it's leaner. The sandwich is... More

For many years this place was top-notch, exceeding by far the well.known NYC delis. In recent months Jake's has raised the prices, made the sandwiches much smaller and the corned beef no longer has the flavor that made it so special. If you knew this place over the years and go there now you will be disappointed. The only good... More

Ok...it's not a New York deli and it's in a neighborhood that has seen better days, but if you're craving a pastrami or corned beef sandwich in the Brew City it's the place to go. I say Jewish-style deli because they offer cheese on the pastrami and corned beef sandwiches (I know it's in Wisconsin). Also, there was no tongue... More

Ignore the funky neighborhood and location. Two miles off I43 on North ave. Best corned beef ever. Pastrami too. Wonderful Reuben. You can bet extra meat for $3 but I don't think you could pick up the sandwich. Take out meat by the lb too. As good as NYC.

We have been coming here for decades! They have the BEST corned beef that I have ever tasted. We try the corned beef everywhere that we travel to and nothing compares!

Incredible meat products. Corned beef and pastrami were awesome. Just plain awesome. Waitress called me sweetie. Herb Kohl was dining one table away. Homemade chips were perfect. If they served beer on tap i probably would have had to end my life there cause it couldn't get any better. I look forward to trying something else on menu but why... More

Living close to New York, I admit I have been spoiled by the tasty and extra large sandwiches for which many of New York’s delis are known for. While visiting Milwaukee, my oldest son suggested eating at Jake’s. At first I didn’t know what to expect but we were soon pleasantly surprised. I ordered a “combo stack” sandwich of corned... More

We wanted a quick lunch while downtown and someone from the Boston Store recommended Jake's. Seems there was a convention in town and the restaurant was not told so the service was very slow, but we waited and were glad we did. Food was excellent!! You just need patience!! They have a daily special, reuben was wonderful.
